Answer:	my car is a 2012 camry se G key. It didnt shut off when door is open. What it did do though is when I would remote start it from outside with the OEM key, the lock and unlock buttons stop working on the key and I would have to unlock the door by sticking the key into the door lock to unlock it. And also as soon as u step on the car break pedal, the car shuts off automatically and then you have to start the car normally by putting key in ignition. WHICH SUCKS. I hated that. So what I did is I purchased their FORTIN remote start controller and their Updater. The remote was like $60 and the Updater was like $30 or $40 if i remember right. So after programming these things, now it remote starts, unlock and lock your car, you dont have to turn your car off and then on again. It stays on. The splicing and connecting the wires part of the installation is pretty easy. Just follow their instructions. Whats kind of a hassle is getting all the wires , the module and plug n play wire harnesses to fit nice and neat under your steering wheel area. But its possible.

Answer:	No. If you use a power switch, unplug your lights, or cut the power to the lights, when you turn them on, or turn back on the power supply, you will need to use the remote to set them to "continuous" or any of the other settings. Default setting is "combination" which is a flashing setting unfortunately.

Answer:	The controller is built into the LED strip. If you are about to get technical you might as well buy a better LED strip controller and better light strips as these aren't worth the trouble. I'm sure you could find DIY controllers that are used in these to solder but I wouldn't bother.

Question:	It wont turn the car on. Did everything the instructions stated. I tried to hard reset it and it flashes green once then red twice. ideas
Answer:	are you getting responses when you hit remote lock 3 times? You should get parking lights flash. Be sure car is locked before you hit lock 3 times. Key presses should be for about 1.2 second each. Also dont make mistake I did and attempt to remote start while sitting in the car. Wont work if key fob is in car. Must be done from outside. As long as you get the parking light response it should activate. Also documentation was a bit lacking. I did search for remote start Prius by distributed and found much better diagrams for harness locations and plug/wire descriptions. If it did not "learn" the start code during programming you wont get any further. Hope those tips help.

Answer:	It is supposed to shut off after 10 minutes as a safety feature. This way if it accidentally gets started, your car is not running for hours. 10 minutes has always been more than sufficient to warm mine up.
