| Answer: | Im unsure of which hood pin you are referring to. However, all the connections needed for installation are compatible with the OEM ODB2 connection under the driver dash. This is the same connection that a dealership would use to run a "check engine" light check. The main "programming box" included in the kit has a connection that plugs into the back of that ODB2 connection.
