Answer:	I saw in another answered question: It may. To be sure, you can wrap the fob in aluminum foil, or put the keyfob in a Faraday bag if the box is big enough to hold the fob while it's bagged.

Answer:	Depending upon the thickness or, the diameter of your cars' steering wheel .. you would use the bare metal hook end or, the hook end that is encased in plastic which, one ends' hook has a wider opening than the other ends' hook. One of the hook ends should be wide enough to hook over your cars' steering wheel. I don't have any unit of measurement that I can give to you. But, the steering wheel break/throttle lock has one hook end smaller and, the other hook end larger in the space area that hooks over the steering wheel. Hope it works out for you.
