Answer:	The question is not "will they handle 1ohm". Your speakers create the ohm load the amp sees. Your speakers will make 1 ohm... But the other person that answered your question didn't pay attention to the fact these are dvc. You MUST have 2, 4ohm dvc woofers to create a 1ohm load. You answered your own question by stating your amp is a mono amp... Usually that are rated to 1 ohm stable. Look up the model number online and read the specs. And DEFINITELY purchase these 2 subs.

Answer:	I know it's a little too late for an answer, but the yellow wires should be connected to a constant battery power. This wire maintains the power for things like clock, preset stations, etc. If connected to a switched ignition power, you'll have to reset the clock, preset stations, Bluetooth devices, etc. The red wire, on the other hand, should be connected to a switched ignition power. This wire works built in relays and circuits within the receiver, like turning the power on/off for example. If connected to non-switched (constant battery power) the receiver will stay on when the ignition switch is turned off and could possibly drain your battery.
