Answer:	Your car does not have 12v, it's 13+ or 14+ depending on whether it's running and how well charged the battery is. It will work, but it will run hotter and probably burn out sooner. Make sure you use an appropriately sized, separate fuse. If you piggyback off another fuse and connect to the hot side it won't be fused, and it will be a fire hazard. Remember, just because something works doesn't make it a good idea.

Answer:	Yes. September 2020 and this is still a problem. I can never locate my phone with my key tag because of this. I have set the app to be able to locate on the background. In phone settings I have set it to 'never sleep'. Samsung and tile just don't get along. However, finding all the other stuff I lost works just fine. Just re open the app.

The duration of the video depends on the dash cam setting. Some of the dash cams can record video from 1 up to 3 minutes in each video. Even though the video is separated, but it will be seamless when you watch the video. It means that there is no transition between two sequential videos.
