| Answer: | The way it fits the truck bed, it should overlap the front lip of the bed and rest on top of the tailgate. As long as that measures 6.5 ft or more you should be fine. Mine over hangs the front by about an inch and rest about 1 1/2" back on the tailgate. |

Some species truck models have lower front bed rail. Apply front seal strip provided to the front bed rail to seal the gap
