Answer:	You pull the nubs out that are already on your car (if you have those like I did at the bottom )and you will see a hole left. Insert the light white plastic fasteners into the hole with claws inward they will fit perfectly in hole and leave the square opening around the hole so when you actually install plate the screws will catch right in there as you tighten the screw down.

Answer:	Hello, thank you for the question. You'll need to drill a .387" size hole for the inserts to fit into.
Question:	What size bit do you need to drill a .387 diameter hole
Answer:	Unfortunately, a 0.387 diameter hole is an odd size hole for a standard drill bit. The closest bit is a 3/8"(0.375). Even though the bit size is less than the desired hole size you can use it by applying pressure up/down and side to side or using a round file to file the hole to size.
