Answer:	Water resistant? Not at all! Stay away from this product, as mine was out of function after a night. It's really waste my effort to put it up.

Answer:	No they are entirely battery operated with 3 AA batteries. I have used them many many many nights without having to replace the batteries because they are LED lights and don't use much power

Answer:	these lights are great! I used the natural bright light bulbs and it is bright bright. It is just like an extension cord with lights in it. Plug on one end and receptacle on the other end so you can add additional strings.

Answer:	What I received in April of 2020 DID NOT have a female end, so no, two cords could not be connected, which was disappointing.

Answer:	Right; I was hoping it was going to come with the CPX-6 rechargeable pack, but it doesn't. It only comes with the "pack" into which you can load four "D" batteries. If you want to use the CPX-6 rechargeable pack, you need to buy one separately. That said, I really do like the fact that the rechargeable pack will fit in any CPX-6 Coleman product. For example, I also have the Table Lamp, and so I can snap the CPX-6 rechargeable pack into either that or this lantern, depending on the kind of light I desire. I haven't had either one long enough to be able to tell you how long the rechargeable pack keeps it lit versus using 4 fresh alkaline batteries.

Question:	What are the dimensions of this item
Answer:	Trying to remember back to my Dads day of using them and I do not think so. I would not put metal around an infrared bulb for they get so hot and therefore this metal would also be very very hot. Seems a dangerous combo.

Answer:	We used these in a fan. We removed the old individual glass lights & bulbs. We screwed these into the fan & then added Edison bulb light bulbs for an industrial look. Hope that helps. They fit perfectly in fan's individual lights.
Question:	Does this work on a plain porcelain ceiling light like you see in basements? Also how far down does the cage hang? I have a low ceiling. Thanks
Answer:	1 1/2 - 1 3/4 inches, depending on the length of the screws you use to clamp. Mine came with only one, instead of 4. of the wing nuts ( ordered 2 Coleman Cables ), and I have to source my own screws and washers. I suppose the longer the screws, the wider the diameter of the clamping mechanism, as neck of the clamp is unhinged where the wing nuts are supposed to tighten. So, you can go bigger if you wish and I suppose, the smallest is about 1 1/2 inch and the neck won't tighten anymore.
Question:	What is the diameter of the clamping mechanism
Answer:	It is rated for bulbs up to 150-watts each, A23 or larger. Using anything other than those may compromise the integrity of the product. Thank you for your question.
