Answer:	I don’t have roof racks and it was fine. It attached with straps that went inside the car to hold it in place. I went through one bad rain storm and the straps inside the car did get wet and drip a little- not bad though. I also wrapped the stuff in it in garbage bags and there was a little water droplets in the bad. Again- not a lot. Just FYI.

So, crappy that you didn’t get one, but, it should be inexpensive enough to just go buy a sheet of it.

Answer:	There is one zipper with two zipper “handles”, so I’m sure you could buy a really small key lock and loop it through the two handles to lock it. Kind of wish we did that as we had to unload it at our midpoint hotel on our road trip. This would have saved a lot of time.

Answer:	Check out your crossbars. Measure distance between them. ID whether or not they can be moved fore/aft. The fit of the box is all about the location of the crossbars. As long as there's nothing crazy going on with the location of your crossbars, then yes it should fit.

Answer:	Crossbars are not necessary. There are plenty of straps to secure it to the side rails. But, I advise against this product. I returned mine after first use. It’s not waterproof and one of the attached straps ripped off easily. I recommend you look at the Amazon Basics equivalent product.
Question:	Where can I find directions for installation (did not come with any step by step directons
Answer:	I do not believe it came with them. However it’s a pretty easy set up. Place on roof between roof racks and place buckled under rails. Once full and zipped shut then clip buckles that went around the rails to the clips above. Use the tied down straps to cinch the load down by threading them through the racks from one side to the other. Cinch and buckle. Note you need to tuck the extra strap under or tie it or it annoyingly flaps in the wind being noisy.

Answer:	The product description states it is a triple seal option. I'm not certain how it improves this already very sturdy tough secure bag. I purchased the regular bag and had no problems even in 50mph winds while traveling 80mph in 105 degree days in Southern Arizona. I did however use the X strapping style. For the high winds.

Answer:	I do not know if it will fit your Jeep. I drive a 2010 Toyota RAV4 with a side opening tailgate and use this rack. As far as being able to open the tailgate when it is in place, if your lower straps have to anchor on to your bumper, or anything underneath the bumper, then you will not be able to open the tailgate while it is installed. There are no convenient attachments on my car for the lower straps, so I anchor them to the tie-down rings inside the rear compartment, then I close the door on the straps and cinch them up. I have to remove the rack to open the tailgate. This is the only rack that I have found to fit on my car, and it is fairly easy to take on and off the car. The hardest part for me is putting the rigid tire cover back on the spare, but the rack itself is easy.

Answer:	We place it on our vehicle roof first, and then put things in, zipped it up, and secure the straps.

Answer:	Crossbars are not necessary. There are plenty of straps to secure it to the side rails. But, I advise against this product. I returned mine after first use. It’s not waterproof and one of the attached straps ripped off easily. I recommend you look at the Amazon Basics equivalent product.
Question:	Which side faces back? Photos show “Hi Journey”(with no zipper) facing forward, but the directions say the side with no zipper goes in the back
Answer:	I do not believe it came with them. However it’s a pretty easy set up. Place on roof between roof racks and place buckled under rails. Once full and zipped shut then clip buckles that went around the rails to the clips above. Use the tied down straps to cinch the load down by threading them through the racks from one side to the other. Cinch and buckle. Note you need to tuck the extra strap under or tie it or it annoyingly flaps in the wind being noisy.

Answer:	My Sorrento did not have cross bars. I used generic add on cross bars and fastened straps front and back. Took 3500 mile round trip with no problems. Would recommend at least front cross bar to prevent bag from possibly sliding back

Answer:	I was able to rig it up using just the crossbars on my 2018 CR-V (no rails). First, this is a big bag, so it might hang over the rear crossbar. I was able to secure the rear by attaching it to the trunk, but it was hacky and didn't leave me feeling confident. The instructions that came with this do not explain how to do this with cross bars only, and there are 8 straps. Despite the fact that I hacked it together, I pulled all of the straps tight, and connected all of them to the cross bars / trunk. I basically forgot I even had this bag on the roof - I was on the highway doing 65 MPH on a very windy day, and it worked like a charm. I also used a roof mat to protect the roof, but I do not know if that did anything to help. I think I might get a basket to connect this for next time, but it did work well without it.
