Question:	My problem is a narrow garage opening. I can't always pull in straight. Would these be any help on the sides of the garage opneing
Answer:	I really hate that people won’t answer the question. They didn’t ask “should you mount them?” It was just how. I used 3/8” x 6” Simpson strong-tie concrete lag bolts from Home Depot. They were about $3 each. Each rubber bumper has 4 holes. I would recommend a 1/2” washer to distribute the load a bit. The hole in the bumper will accept a 1/2” bolt but they are significantly more expensive. The bolt only needs to be 3” to reach the concrete, but the manufacturer recommends more than 2” embedment, so 5” long bolt minimum. Be careful not to over tighten the bolt - it is fairly easy to “squish” the rubber down and deform the shape of the bumper.
Question:	Will this device work if you back your car into your garage
Answer:	There was no overwhelming smell on the curb stop that I purchased. It is functioning perfectly and there is no odor at all. Highly recommend for use in your garage.

Question:	How long is the cord? From the light to the sensor
Answer:	Weight was in the description. I bought the two pack curb bundle. You save a lot compared to buying separately. Both mine arrived packaged together. Industrial tape held them together. I think they are like 20 to 25 lbs per each one. I attached with 4 inch velcro on garage floor. It worked great!!! No bolts.

Adjustability

The STKR Parking Sensor utilizes ultra-sonic pulses to determine the exact distance between the vehicle and the sensor. Close the garage door with confidence, knowing the back-end of the vehicle is safely inside the parameters of the garage. Leave just enough space in front of a vehicle to access a fridge or work bench.

Easy to Mount, Easy to Set

To calibrate the unit, first simply mount it with the supplied Velcro and double-sided tape. Then, park the vehicle in the desired stop zone and press the RED 'set distance' button. The STKR sensor allows the user to select the exact location they would like to park their vehicle, anywhere from 6 in to 6 ft.

Walkway Light

When exiting a vehicle there is often a dark spot between the vehicle and the wall where the driver or passenger has to pass through. The STKR Parking Sensor illuminates that spot, creating a safe and well lit walkway. The light will illuminate in conjunction with the red light on the sensor, and is on a timer to turn off after 45 seconds.

Approach

Answer:	When you place in reverse the unit is activated, sensors will detect objects within 6' your bumper (if you installed it there). As you get closer to the object, the beeps will increase, until you come to a foot of the object, then it will be a solid tone. You can 2-4 sensors (2 for a compact car). Hope this helps you...Just install yesterday, tested in carport. Will update results later...
Question:	If the sound unit is installed under the dash, how easy is it to snake the cable to the front
Answer:	I'd reccommend you contact the manufacturer. Just a thought though, have you noticed if your reverse lights are continuously on? You reverse light switch could be damaged or broken. Are you able to remove the sensors, and reposition them to a more parallel position? If it continues to beep, I'd think either it could be a sensor or module problem.

Answer:	Yes. All you need to do is wire the power supply so that it activates when the key is in the "Run" position. If you wire it this way, it will warn you of objects in front of you and will turn off once the car is turned off.

Answer:	Yes, they are paint friendly. I painted the front sensors white and they function fine.
Question:	Will these work on the front bumper of a 2007 Cadillac dts
Answer:	If you have a van that is less than 20 ft long there are enough cables that come in the hardware kit. Yes, I installed 4 sensors on front and the other 4 on back. It is very important to identify each Distance Sensor to install in the corresponding position so each will coincides in the display of the monitor. My best advice is to simulate the complete installation to test the sensors and wires as the corresponding position. For that simulation you could use cardboard and a 12 volts battery. If you have to use extension to the cables you could find similar cables like telephone cables of 4 or more pairs of wires includes at the home Depot or Lowe's.

Answer:	The units comes with an alarm, which I believe is powered by straight 12V, but it is not a speaker. Audio speakers have specific impedance and voltage limits. I wouldn't risk damage to a vehicle audio system by wiring the alarm's 12v supply direct to your car's speakers. The alarm is quite loud by itself. You'll hear it. Put it this way, if you are listening to speakers or headphones so loudly, that you cant hear this alarm, you're a hazard to yourself and others on the road.
