Answer:	This product is formulated to clean, shine and protect automotive chrome pate without being abrasive. On aged or distressed chrome, it would be recommended to test in an inconspicuous area if that's possible, but it is a gentle polish and on chrome plate that is intact is is completely safe. Keep in mind that this is an automotive polish and not a household polish, but the chrome plated metal process would be the same on either. Question:	Is dis good for removing rain spots off chrome rims
Answer:	This is cotton wadding that has been treated with some oil based solvent (something like WD-40?) I once got a can of this in a grocery store auto section but it was dried out and it is useless then. It will turn black as it removes the oxidation but just keep re-folding it to expose clean areas. You can get a lot of mileage out of this stuff. I'm a fan and have used it mostly on chrome. It will also take dried tar of non-ferrous metals . I did use it on old alloy wheels - mostly aluminum, right? - and they went from dull grey to reflecting my hand almost like chrome. I keep Q-Tips in the can and they absorb some of the solvent for use in small areas. But I think the shining effect is less dramatic when the surface is not really smooth to start with - like screen door frames. My alloy wheels probably came out of the factory buffed and smooth as a baby's butt. It is a lot of manual rubbing tho. It dries to a white residue then comes off easily with terrycloth. You'll probably want to wear gloves cause it's oily but not caustic in any way.

Answer:	I’m going to say no to both questions.....the product in and of itself is not that strong; should not remove layers.....unless one would use an abrasive applicator and rub with pressure.

Answer:	You could certainly try, but I don't think you'll get the result you're looking for. Remember, this is a cleaner/polish which recommends applying it with a soft cloth. I think to remove corrosion you're going to need a different process.

Answer:	No. The swab does not react to paint pigment, just the lead content of the paint. Often, when the amount of lead is low, it may take a few minutes to see a reading. Also, the kit contains a test sheet of lead to test the swab if you suspect lead but get no reading.
Question:	Can you use this on lacquered brass? I don't want to remove the lacquer
Answer:	Yes but you will need to find an area that is already chipped or has the different layers exposed to get a good reading. If no area is chipped/exposed you would have to expose it by either using a box cutter or some other means. You need the chemical to interact with the bottom layer of paint which has the more likely chance of lead paint. Hope this helps.

Answer:	I just attended an information seminar about lead poisoning and the lady running it said you can use the swab to drip a small amount of the fluid onto the item your testing, then use a q-tip to rub it around. She said doing this, you can get around 7 tests per swab. I haven't tested this though.

Answer:	No. Pitting is a permanent deformation of the chrome plating. It can remove any surface corrosion or impurities. That minimizes the visual appearance of the pitting especially if it's minor. I hope this answers your question.

Answer:	This product is a fine polish. A good wash first and then if there is rust and grime you may be best very fine bronze wool, you could try steel wool 00000 0 but it will eventually haze theChrome. When that is clean then use polish. This is a premium metal polish

Question:	Would this bring the shine back to a honda cb650r engine? the black and bronze parts
Answer:	This can remove iron particles from your paint as well as clean your wheels. Do not let it dry on the wheels or on the paint. You won't have problems if you rinse it off before it drys. Also, never apply to a hot surface. Make sure you are in the shade and the car and wheels are cool. I've used it on both wheels and to decontaminate my paint without any problems.
Question:	No mention of use on polished Stainless Steel
Answer:	Shouldn't hurt coated black rims but I would be very cautious about using it on uncoated rims such a billet aluminum.

Answer:	Yes, it's great on paint. Dont let it dry. Spray, dwell, bleed, rinse. Ultimate Wheel Cleaner is also great on paint.
