Question:	How is this stuff applied? with a cloth like a wax
Answer:	I use something small because as others mentioned it's wasteful otherwise. I think cloth is best but a paper towel seems to work fine. So yeah, kinda like wax: Clean the glass really well, then apply making sure you get it everywhere, let it dry for maybe a minute or so, then buff off. I and the rest of the world used to have trouble getting a streak free finish when done. Really it was never streak free, you just kept wiping/smearing it around until you gave up. I bought some micro fiber towels and now it's actually streak free and done in a fraction of the time. So fyi...

Answer:	If you can wax plastic rain-x would last longer

Answer:	Of course it depends on size of windshield, but in my experience with a Toyota 4runner and an Infiniti g35x a full bottle of rainx will generally give 15-20 complete windshield applications
Question:	How often does Rain-X need to be reapplied
Answer:	I see degradation more quickly than the others, or maybe I set the bar higher because I want it working like new all the time. So basically I have to apply it before every rain, unless it's been less than a week since the last coat. So yes it'll work for months, it just depends on what you consider acceptable. Fyi; I also noticed the more pitting on the glass the worse it works, so that's a huge factor in effectiveness and time span, and possibly the reason many don't get good results. It took me a while to figure out why it worked much better on some cars, until I replaced my windshield and suddenly it worked better than ever. A little light came on and now you know too ;) Each year after that I could tell the difference thanks to said pitting from sand or whatever is causing it. The sun seems to shorten its life quite a bit too, as does using the wipers over it so I try to only use new wipers and only wipe if I really have to. So I guess the short answer is you just have to try it and find out how it works on your car, but it's certainly worth a try because when everything is good it's awesome stuff. As long as your speed is enough to blow the water off it's by far better than any wipers, and that's more obvious the harder it's raining. It can be raining so hard that others are driving ultra slow because they can't see, but I can see just fine! I use it on my shower door too btw, but like the windshield you need to get it really clean first! For the shower I use scotchbrite and comet. For the car I find that Windex isn't really good enough so I have some window cleaner that's a paste, which you wipe/scrub on with a wet rag to get it super clean, then let it dry and wipe off the white powder. I forget the name and the label fell off long ago, but it came in a white plastic tub of maybe 16oz. It's the ultimate window cleaner if you can find it. They also sell a version of RainX that you add to the wiper water, which isn't as effective but is really nice if you don't feel like manually doing it, or rain catches you off guard etc. Simply squirt some washer fluid on, even while it's raining, and it starts working right away! I've been using the past several months and it's great.

Question:	Do I have to spray it inside of windshield or its outside
Answer:	I tried it on my bathroom mirror and I followed the directions exactly. It didn't work at all. Don't buy it. Actually, in my opinion, this stuff is actually a safety hazard because I also used it on the inside of my windshield, and it actually made the fogging worse. It was extremely dangerous because I could barely see and the normal things you do to get rid of fog, like turning on the defogger, actually made it worse. The fog would slowly build on the inside of the glass, to where you didn't notice it at first and then it would bad when you're in the middle of driving. And the coating from the spray was extremely difficult to remove. I had to scrub the glass with Formula 409, times before it finally came off. DO NOT BUY THIS STUFF! I PROMISE YOU'LL REGRET IT!

Answer:	It is recommended to reapply treatments every 3 to 4 months for continuous visibility for the rain x product. This is only for exterior use on glass and windshields, side and back windows, fog lights and headlights. For interior windows use the anti-fog product, which could need reapplication every two months during cold damp weather conditions.

Answer:	No, never use glass cleaner on camera lenses! Camera lenses have coatings to improve their optical quality and protect against haze, the chemicals in most glass cleaners will strip off the coatings in an ugly and uneven way. Search specifically for camera lens cleaners.

Answer:	Some of the lens colors are better for day or night, depending on the VLT (Visible Light Transmission). VLT is the amount of light allowed through the lens. The LOWER the VLT# the darker lens tint is and the HIGHER the VLT# the lighter the lens tint is. Orange at 35% VLT or yellow at 54%VLT are considered low light or night times lenses, whereas tints like smoke or the mirrored lenses, with lower VLT #s, are considered daylight or brighter condition lenses. The best night time/low light lens is obviously the yellow tint lens, so probably go with that. The orange lens would probably work well too, though. These are awesome goggles at a great price, so maybe consider buying several pairs with different VLTs/lenses for different conditions. I am not sure if the lenses can be changed out, but I don't think at this price that they are made to be changed. I don't think they sell just the lenses alone either. You could probably buy multiple pairs before you come close to the price of any of the more well-known brands like Oakley or Anon.

Answer:	Since this product is RTU we do not recommend using in your wash bucket. This product is designed to be used directly with your Foam Cannon or Foam Gun. However, you are able to still follow a double bucket wash method when using a car wash mitt, pad, sponge, etc. Thanks!
