If your silverware has tarnish, then you'll have to use an ultrasonic silver tarnish remover as a solution. Answer:	This stuff will work after you get the largest accumulation of dirt and tar off. It's designed to be used on a smooth fine surface to shine the vehicle's finish. You may need a tar remover first, such as kerosene or a fine polishing compound.

Answer:	Clay bars do not take paint scratches off. They take off impurities above the paint surface. A scratch is in/below the surface. To remove those you will need cutting, polishing agents based on how deep the scratch is into the surface.

Answer:	The color of the car is not as important. The important thing is the amount of time in which its been since you last clay barred the car. If it is within a year, you can use the blue light clay bar. Over a year then the yellow. Over 2 years, the medium, and then the black clay bar is the heavy duty. It is best to use the medium or lighter clay bar before the black clay bar because you could end up damaging the paint if you go to heavy.
Question:	What is the difference between light, medium and heavy clay bars
Answer:	As the name states, each color or density of the clay is different for specified jobs. Light for light contamination, medium for medium contamination and heavy for heavy contamination. The heavier the clay the more of chance there is for you to marr and damage the paint. For optimal use of the clay bar, any bar medium and above should be followed by a Polish as to remove marring and scratching left by the clay bar. It’s time to use the clay bar when your paint does not feel smooth as glass. Any rough feeling is pollution and contamination stuck on the paint, and only the clay bar can remove it safely. Start by washing the vehicle: scrubbing loose dirt on the paintwork turns your clay bar into sandpaper, so avoid tons of swirls and scratches by starting with a clean surface. Use the proper lubricant to glide the clay by smoothly over the surface, and to maintain the integrity of the synthetic clay material. Attempting to clay with soap and water can be too rough on the paint and dissolve the clay bar, so stick to synthetic detail sprays and clay bar lubricants like Clay Luber for the best results. When paintwork feels rough to the touch, it is contaminated and dirty. Normal car washing will not remove this type of contamination: microscopic bits of pollution, brake dust, and industrial fallout contamination stick to the surface and get stuck in the pores of the paintwork. Using the clay bar is a crucial step before any polishing, waxing, or finishing steps during a full detail. Without removing the layer of stuck-on filth, new coats of wax won't stick directly to the paintwork and won’t last as long as they should. Answer:	I have a 3M invisible bra on my car and it takes quite a bit of abuse; I buff it out, polish it, use speed shine, etc. without any damage. If you have a different brand of clear bra, I don't know how durable it would be.
Question:	Speed Shine vs Meguiar's Ultimate Quick Detailer - which is best
Answer:	I have to say the Meguiars is just a little better for the product's intended purpose (light cleaning). Speed Shine is a good product and worthwhile to use. It smells better than Meg UQD and probably goes on a little bit slicker, but in the end, I have found (after 3 months of testing on several vehicles) that the Megs product produces a cleaner panel and a little more of a shine. If Megs UQD is 100, then the Speed Shine is a 97 or 98. Megs UQD followed by Megs Synthetic X-Wax (or probably the Ultimate Quik Wax) will produce a VERY shiny vehicle, even if your paint is less than perfect. Supposedly the Griots BOSS Detailer competes with the Syn. X-Wax very well, but I haven't used the BOSS product.

Answer:	Last Touch makes an excellent lubricant for claying. Always wash the car first as you normally would and start with a "clean and dry" surface. Follow up with the clay and then your favorite paint protectant wax or polish. I have used it numerous times just for that application. Spray Last Touch liberally on to the paint surface and lightly rub the paint surface with the clay bar making sure you keep turning the clay as it pulls impurities out of the paint.

Using Meguiar’s Last Touch Spray Detailer as a mist and wipe

• For best results, make sure the paint on your car is cool to the touch and that you are working in the shade. Do not apply in direct sunlight.
• Mist Last Touch Spray Detailer onto one section of your vehicle.
• Quickly spread with a clean premium microfiber towel like Meguiar’s Supreme Shine Microfiber Towel.
• Flip your towel to dry portion and wipe dry.
• Return to the damp portion of your cloth for each initial wipe, repeat this process on each section over the vehicle.
