How to prepare the vehicle’s paint before applying a wax

Question:	Has turtle wax addressed the leaking container issue
Answer:	I purchased the Mothers product as a follow-on or maintenance product to keep my headlight lenses clear after using the brilliant 3M kit that uses the drill, foam pad and sand paper. While Mothers suggests this "clarifies, protects, and maintains", my interest is really only in the later 2 aspects of protect and maintain. The 3M kit worked so well for clarifying the lens, that I wouldn't consider switching should the need arise again. What convinced me to at least try this product was the inclusion of the UV inhibitors. Could be that this is marketing nonsense that I've fallen for; but, thought I'd give it a try. I apply this by hand once a month per instructions. Seems like a very fine polish unlike, say, the polish included in the Turtle Wax kit which you could see and feel cutting plastic even when using it with hand application. If you're looking for a fine maintenance polish then this one seems like a good fit.

Answer:	Go around and apply it to the entire vehicle in one go. That will give the first panel enough time to cure and you can begin buffing off the now dry, hazy wax.

Answer:	I use both, the paste works good on all cars and easier to buff out. The liquid takes longer to dry and smears when use too much. If you have a black or dark color car the paste is your best choice.

Answer:	Yes you can, but spray on to microfiber and apply to items, do not spray directly onto those items.

Answer:	Turtle Wax answered the question here - yes, one can go on top of the other in either order. TW also said, during their press roll-out, that surface prep like claying is not necessary. However most 3rd party YouTubers emphasize surface prep for the est results - at a minimum claying, and Meguiar's Clay 2.0 has worked well for me, while others like mits and towels and of course actual real clay bars. Have you considered prepping a couple of panels and trying each family of products separately on each panel? Wet Wax is a "convenience" product and while the press roll out video shows superb results, the traditional spray wax version would probably be a better place to start. Like you, I love Ice Seal n Shine, and use Ice Spray Wax as both a topper, then as a detailer and waterless car wash product. Ice Spray Wax isn't officially approved for detailing OR for waterless car wash, but with light application and wipe off pressure I haven't had any micro scratches so far. Nevertheless I've also tried Turtle Wax Hybrid Ceramic 3 in 1 Detailer which IS rated for detailing AND for waterless car washing, it works fine too but is more work to rub in than Ice Spray Wax and harder to remove without swirls - it doesn't make the paint any deeper or shinier or slicker than just plain Ice Spray Wax, so I'm not sure whether I favor off-book use of Ice Spray Wax or approved use of Hybrid 3 in 1. Please report back if you try two different panels with two different families, I haven't had time to try that myself yet.

Answer:	Any new/clean microfiber towel will do just fine, 300-500 gsm will work great. We recommend a dedicated towel or pad for application and a separate towel for buffing. Once Renew cures in the towel you will want to throw it out, though if you wash immediately after application it could be washed out and reused.
Question:	If you spray this on a glass touchscreen (e.g.cooktop or microwave) does the touchscreen still function properly
Answer:	I’m sure you can but one coat has performed excellent for me for a couple of months now with no signs of deterioration. You can definitely get multiple coats/coat multiple vehicles with one bottle however as a little of this product seemed to go a LONG way.

How To Apply?

Prep

Use an Adam's Clay Bar/Mitt and an Adam's Swirl Killer to remove contamination, oxidation, swirls/scratches for optimal results. Follow this step by using Adam's Surface Prep to remove any surface oils, or residues.

Apply

Spray Adam's Graphene Ceramic Spray Coating into a Microfiber Applicator, or an Adam's Premium Microfiber Towel. Wipe the product onto the paint, allowing the surface to be fully covered.

Amazing Results

Allow the product to sit for 1-2 minutes, then

buff to a high shine with an Adam's Premium Microfiber Towel. Finally allow 4 hours to cure before exposure to elements.

How Long Will Our Car Detailing Spray Last?

An initial, properly applied application of PBL Sio2 Detail Spray can last over a year. With additional applications over a period of time, it can extend the coating life and protection up to 5 years or longer. The coating polish strengthens with each application. The average life is dependent upon a number of factors, including the number of washes, use of harsh chemicals or detergents, how the vehicle is used, general maintenance, and severe weather or environmental issues.



How Long Will A Bottle Last?

Depending on the size of the area you are covering and frequency of times you reapply PBL Sio2 Detail Spray, you can get many uses out of your bottle! Your initial application will use more of the product than reapplications. For example, a typical pick-up truck or standard auto vehicle will use about 2-2.5 ounces in the first application. Subsequent applications will generally only utilize .5-1.0 ounces. This will provide multiple applications with just one bottle! PBL Sio2 Detail Spray should be misted sparingly upon the surface since a little goes a long way, and excessive use wastes product.

At that time, you can then apply TLC2 and AMP for regular maintenance to help preserve and rebuild on the Black Ice layer.
