Answer:	No, there is NO REASON AT ALL. From my own mistakes: I didn't take good care of my paint when I got the car. It was a lease and I really didn't expect to keep it. TODAY, I'm looking at early-stage clear coat failure on the horizontal surfaces of the car. For this reason, YES,USE IT! Give the car a good wash, and pick up a claying kit. Use plenty of the quick detailer; follow the directions. Rewash to remove whatever residues might be left over. You'll feel the difference - SMOOOOTTTTHHH! Apply the 476 THIN; once it hazes, it should buff off easily. Start by doing ONE panel to get a feel for it. If it's hard to remove, you have it on too thick. If it smears, it needs to set-up longer. Initially, you WILL have it on too thick. Guess how I know that! As you get the application dialed in, you will LOVE this stuff. If you put on, let's say, one coat per month, from now 'til winter, you just might be protected 'til spring. It's GREAT stuff, and you'll be surprised at how little you actually need in use. One note: Do not get it on the black trim; it WILL stain it if you don't get it off RIGHT NOW. Just go slow around those areas; you can speed up once you're away from those pieces. One thing you might want to ALSO pick up (I get it locally) is Collinite's 845. It's a weird liquid-paste. It's safe for the black trim, and is stupid-easy to use, but it doesn't last as long as the 476. 845 is great for the door jambs, and such, where you don't want to risk staining the weather stripping, windlace, etc.

Answer:	Yes, this stuff is awesome! It lasts a long time, so you don't have to keep re-waxing every 3 months. For me, it lasts about a legitimate year on my car, and about six months on my motorcycle. Before you put this on, clean the chrome with some kind of metal cleaner polish, then apply this as a second protective coat. I'm not too sure how long this will last on those parts though, since they are very hot. Hope this helps

Answer:	Synthetic will last longer but carbauba has better look. My rule of thumb is I use synthetics on black and very dark colors and lean more toward carnauba with bright colors. Both get a first layer of synthetic sealant but the bright colors get top coat of carnauba or carnauba blend wax on top. Again that's just my opinion in my experience. If we are talking meguiar's products, id put ultimate on both as a first layer, then 8 hours later another layer of ultimate on black and dark colors and Meg's carnauba plus on bright colors. The carnauba is a blended so there's also synthetic polymers in it but won't last as long as ultimate Hope that helps you get to the answer you are looking for.

Answer:	I'm not a fan of liquid waxes. Tried several brands including Mequiars own Tech Wax 2.0. Liquid's finished look looks amazing. However, it doesn't last. Liquid is great if you don't mind re-waxing 1-2x a month as every brand I've tried with different application methods seem to be gone the first time it gets wet (rain etc). stick with paste waxes. harder to apply and buff off vs liquids, but the amount of time the paste wax is still working vs the liquid is no contest. Ive even put liquid wax on my windshield. I have to go 60+ for it to bead. Paste beads instantly.

Answer:	The description probably borrowed information from the liquid version of the ultimate wax. The paste says not to get on trim. I suspect it's the solvent carrier used in the wax not the polymers themselves. But the liquid version is ok to get on the trim. The paste says not to get it on trim.

Answer:	I purchased the Mothers product as a follow-on or maintenance product to keep my headlight lenses clear after using the brilliant 3M kit that uses the drill, foam pad and sand paper. While Mothers suggests this "clarifies, protects, and maintains", my interest is really only in the later 2 aspects of protect and maintain. The 3M kit worked so well for clarifying the lens, that I wouldn't consider switching should the need arise again. What convinced me to at least try this product was the inclusion of the UV inhibitors. Could be that this is marketing nonsense that I've fallen for; but, thought I'd give it a try. I apply this by hand once a month per instructions. Seems like a very fine polish unlike, say, the polish included in the Turtle Wax kit which you could see and feel cutting plastic even when using it with hand application. If you're looking for a fine maintenance polish then this one seems like a good fit.

Answer:	We have had several customers ask us this same question who have tried it and not experienced any negative results. The product is pH balanced and non-corrosive, however we always recommend testing it on a small area before using on entire surface just as a precaution before use.

Answer:	I used a 1 gallon srayer with 8ozs on a very muddy atv, i sprayed till the 1 gallon was empty, so like 4 quads. i guess if you had lightly muddy quad you could use a 1/2 gallon of the mixture and get maybe 8 washes out of the 4 gallons of mixture. it really helped with the surface mud like on the body and fenders, but the thick chunky mud on the frame and control arms, still need a pressure washer. imo its to expensive to wash very muddy atv's that you need a pressure washer anyways for the thick stuff.
Question:	Can you use it on wet surfaces and can you use on the direct sunlight
Answer:	Hi Paul, this product is biodegradable and non-corrosive however I do not recommend this for boats. Boats contain a gel coat surface and this product will remove a very thin layer of that of that overtime. Off-Road Wash is designed for Trucks, Jeeps, Motorcross Bikes, ATVs and other vehicles that have mostly plastics, rubber, and metal surfaces so this product will not hurt those. We do make a different product that is great for Boats, as well as your car. Slick Suds Wash and Wax (also sold on amazon) is biodegradable and non-corrosive but contains a carnuba wax and a gentle cleaning agent that washes and shines at the same time. Answer:	If by "affect" white plastics you mean clean them, yes it does. If by "affect" white plastics you mean damage them or discolor them, no it does not. If your plastics are permanently stained, melted, or discolored from the sun or from being bent from a fall, this will not help clean them as they are permanently damaged and will need to be replaced. Once replaced with new plastics this product will help maintain the "new" look.

Answer:	Paint oxidation occurs when your clear coat starts to peel off. I guess your best bet is to bring it to a car paint shop. If you know what your doing, you can use a clay detailer to remove the oxidation then use your car polish or wax then apply it to your car’s paint to polish it.

Preparing the paint for spray wax

Before applying a spay wax be sure the paint is clean with no dirt or dust on it. If you have light or fresh contaminants on your paint use a spray detailer like Meguiar’s Ultimate Quik Detailer, or a wash like Meguiar’sGold Class Car Wash Shampoo and Conditioner if the paint is dirty.

Run your clean, dry fingertips over the paint. If the paint feels rough to the touch this indicates that you have bonded contaminants like tree sap mist, industrial fallout, road tar, and paint overspray. Meguiar’s Smooth Surface Clay Kit comes with everything you need to safely remove bonded contaminants on the paint and leave it as smooth as glass.

Evaluate the paint for below surface defects. If you have light to moderate swirls, scratches, oxidation, water spots, or etchings you would want to use a product like Meguiar’sUltimate Compound.
