I has seen this in the past. For example, my friend once over sprayed black magic onto the radio and it bled through the visor. It would not come out unless replaced. Try on a small area or used visor first.

Answer:	This product is sold more as a protectant than a cleaner. I would suggest using something else to clean the chairs and then use this to protect them.

Answer:	This product has polydimethylsiloxane, which is silicone oil. Silicones are not a concern for most rubber products. Older car care products had petroleum distillates which were more of a concern. This is water based.

Answer:	I have used this on the upholstery on various boats for the last 10 years. i found it much better than Armor All or 3M 303. It leaves a slight sheen and none of that greasy feeling, while leaving the boat upholstery with a very soft feel to it. I often do multiple coats the same day without a problem and it does not have the "gummy" residue that some of the other products leave. Highly recommended!

Answer:	Short answer is YES. On the Meguiar's web site M40 is not body shop safe and that is most likely because of some silicone.

Answer:	not only a cleaner but...conditioner. I use it on all rubber, plastics (abs), vinyl and tires. no problems on any of these surfaces, unlike other products I've used. really a great tire dressing so I would think weather seals are in the same area.

Answer:	I would not use it for rear tail lamps or front clear headlamps. There is a product designed to clear these type car parts which will do a much better job. You can buy this from Amazon for less than I have seen it anywhere else. it is called Meguiar's G12310 PlastX Clear Plastic Cleaner & Polish - 10 oz. and it costs as little as $6.47. Meguiar's Vinyl and Rubber Cleaner/Conditioner seems, to me, to be made more for a softer material that has some flexibility in it. It has done wonders for the interior of my car, but I only use it on the seats, dash, and rubber weatherstripping around the doors. I have used the Clear Plastic Cleaner & Polish on my front and rear lamps and it clears them up like new and they stay clear for a long time. Be careful when you are wahing and waxing your car and try to keep any wax you are using off the lamps because my experience is that it tends to cause them to appear fogged and the light they broadcast is not nearly as bright as it is after using the Clear Plastic Cleaner & POlish.

Answer:	Yes, i’ve used it by accident on leather. The scent is too strong and you might want to try their pro leather cleaner and condition because it will leave leather smelling beautiful. I cut mine back to 50% water. Their basic all purpose cleaner 1 part cleaner 10 parts water is an excellent cleaner before applying the conditioner. That info i received via email from mcguire’s.

Answer:	In all of my 44 years of waxing cars, I have never used a buffing machine. Just make sure to let the wax dry naturally and then buff by hand!!!

Answer:	It dries darker or gray. I found this paste wax is shaded darker than regular paste wax. This is to help with removing the dried wax. For example, ever had wax applied to the "cracks" or areas where the various car body panels meet? The space between body panels, hood, doors, head/tail lights and such other areas wax can get applied and then dry white when using a basic paste or liquid wax. We often leave some traces of dried wax was not completely buffed/wiped off leaving outlines of the wax inside joining car body parts. If you have a light painted car it's not as noticeable if using a basic withe paste wax. However if you have black or dark painted vehicle when regular (non tinted) wax is applied and highly visible in the panel joints. The joints are where panels meet are not as noticeable whenever this product or any brand of "black wax" is used. Meguiar's G6207 Black Wax Paste is basically a good regular paste wax that has been tinted to make it darker and easier to use on dark paint. It is not a magical wax. It will not turn old black paint look like a newly painted car. I recommend it for ease of use on dark paint and especially on new black or new dark paint. I love it and only use this wax on my new Jet Black Yukon only because it is easier to use than regular white paste wax.Remember that all waxes are a sealant and will seal in any contamination that is left after washing. Question:	Messed up putting on the two step process. How do you correct this
Answer:	Mine "looked" like it was messed up after the first part (the abrasive portion of the process). I thought it wouldn't clean up, so I used toothpaste (mild abrasive). It still didn't look good. But, I finally applied the final polishing solution and voilla! It looked awesome! I suspect although it looked bad, the second part of the process cleaned it up. Maybe, the toothpaste was unnecessary. I heard about negative results with other Toyotas, like my Tacoma, however, my issue was resolved. I hope your issue is resolved as well. If not, I'd try a different brand and re-do it.

Answer:	If it looks fine you should be fine. The 24 hour recommendation is very conservative to cover all environments and situations. If it dried for a few hours it may be totally fine.

Answer:	It works for me here in Arizona (it's a dry heat, ya know) where you can sear a steak on your car hood, just be sure to use a cooking mat so you don't scratch the hood with yer flipper and your steak taste like wax. I like the ceramic as it protects from sun damage as well. It's a good product and I'm very picky about what products I use on my show car.

How-to prepare the vehicle’s paint surface before waxing

For best results with Meguiar’s Ultimate Liquid Wax, start with a freshly washed vehicle. Always use a pH balanced car wash soap like Meguiar’s Ultimate Wash & Wax. Next, run your clean, dry fingertips over the paint. If the paint feels rough to the touch this indicates that you have bonded contaminants on top of your paint. These are things like tree sap mist, industrial fallout, road tar, and paint overspray. Meguiar’s Smooth Surface Clay Kit comes with everything you need to safely remove contaminants bonded on the paint and leave it as smooth as glass. Finally, evaluate the paint for below surface defects. If you have light to moderate swirls, scratches, oxidation, water spots, or etchings you would want to use a product like Meguiar’s Ultimate Compound. From there you would follow with a polish like Ultimate Polish for maximum shine before applying your wax protection.

A few tips when applying the Ultimate Liquid Wax

• One of the biggest mistakes people make when applying a wax is applying it too heavily. This only prolongs drying time, making the wax more difficult to remove and using more product than necessary. Always spread the wax very thin and evenly over the paint.
• For the easiest removal, use a clean, dry microfiber towel like Meguiar's Supreme Shine Microfiber Towel (included in the box). Please be aware that low temperatures and/or high humidity can prolong the initial curing time of Ultimate Wax.

Tips and suggestions for using Meguiar’s Quik Scratch Eraser Kit

• Shake all products well.
• Work on a clean, cool surface in the shade.
• It’s important to mount the Scratch Eraser Pad onto your drill following the manufacturer’s directions. Make sure that the pad is mounted securely.
• Always use both hands to hold and guide the drill, keeping the pad flat on the paint.
• Always keep the pad and drill moving. Allowing the pad to remain in one place can overheat the paint and cause damage.
• Apply a small amount of ScratchX 2.0 to the pad in an X pattern.
• Place the pad flat on the scratch. Use medium speed and make 4-6 overlapping passes. Repeat as needed until the defect is not noticeable.
• Remove excess ScratchX 2.0 from the pad by pressing the pad into a clean, damp towel several times. Then, polish the affected area with 4-6 overlapping passes.
• Remove remaining residue with the microfiber towel.
• Be sure to follow with a wax like Meguiar’s Ultimate Quik Wax or Meguiar’s Ultimate Liquid Wax to put protection back on the paint.
