Question:	Which side goes down
Answer:	Trying washing clothing inside out to preserve the sticker. I don’t know. Or use a sharper and save the stickers for other items

Answer:	I have not had any issues with these labels sticking to anything. I usually stick it to a label if one is available because I feel it adheres much better. However, I have also stuck them directly to fabric and have not had any issues. They have even lasted being on my daughters water bottle that she uses everyday all day and they even made it through the sink and dishwasher. I do suggest the label b e rubbed and pushed from both sides of the fabric to make sure it has fully gripped.

Answer:	I used them for my Mom when she was in a nursing home. I did put them on a few objects and they did fine. But they weren't washed as often as bowls and sippy cups would be.

Answer:	Not best to put directly on fabric. I put some on some tagless t-shirts and they do stay on for a while but not forever. They work well if put on the clothing tags/labels. I've put inside shoes no problem because shoes aren't getting washed.
Question:	Will they stick on stretch waistband
Answer:	I don't know exactly, but I would say no. They are sticky, so if they don't have fabric to stick to they are going to stick to themselves and bunch up. I have used ribbon to make tags and sewn these into sweaters and put these tags on the ribbon.
