Question:	Would this thread be appropriate for sewing patches on a denim jacket
Answer:	Yes! This is the exact reason I purchased the thread. I sew patches on my husband's denim jacket. He buys a lot of patches when we go away on trips. I even sew the iron on ones because they don't always stick well.

Question:	The photo and title say 500 yards but the description says 250, which is the truth
Answer:	I've found a couple of problems like this...when in doubt, look for a different seller that is just about the same price. I've bought so much thread on Amazon, I don't really remember which was which. It might be they just used the same description for the smaller one just to add a larger product. You might be able to see if the price is higher for the 500 yard vs the 250 yard spools. With the millions of products on this site, this happens from time to time. There is also a place where you can "contact seller" if you want to really double check. Sellers are very anxious to please customers, too!! Hope this helped.
