Answer:	I’m not certain, but it’s free of harmful chemicals, sulfates, and parabens. So essentially, to my knowledges, there is nothing that would really harm your color. Hope this helps!
Question:	What size crochet needle do you need for this
Answer:	You can use it everyday because it does not strip your skin (scalp) of natural oils. This shampoo/conditioner system balances your scalp's pH and reduces inflammation. I however recommend you mix it with another Giovanni Shampoo (Tea Tree Triple Treat) for more lather. More lather is not necessary for cleaning the scalp itself, but it helps glide fingers to better distribute the product. Hope this helps!

Answer:	It smells medicinal, but not bad, minty and earthy. I prefer the Triple Treat Shampoo by this brand, it has Tea Tree, Rosemary and Lavender which stimulates and soothes the scalp. I like the tingling sensation and clean feeling I get from Triple Treat Shampoo and Conditioner instead of this Wellness System.

This book will open the door to the world of embroidery for you. There are always new threads, beads, and fabrics available that say, “come explore with me.” Discover all the wonderful ways you can enjoy creating with stitches. Once you learn the stitches, anything is possible. Beautiful fabrics and threads are just waiting for you to pick them up and create.

There are no do’s or don’ts in today’s world of embroidery. We’ll go over the equipment available, how to transfer designs, and how to start creating designs of your very own. You will find descriptions of different types of supplies that are available today. It is up to you to decide what you want to purchase. Some stitchers become collectors of tools, while others are attracted to threads, embellishments, or fabrics. You may be the stitcher who only purchases what is needed to complete the project at hand and then discovers your weakness along the way. I’ve never found my single weakness; I love it all.

GETTING STARTED

All you need to get started is a needle, thread, fabric, pair of scissors, and an idea. The correct equipment enhances the embroidery experience and makes stitching much easier. Use the information in this section as a reference for choosing the correct equipment and supplies. You will refer to the information time and time again.

CREATIVE EMBROIDERY

Creative embroidery is a free form of embroidery that does not require counting. It is both easy to learn and fun to stitch. The stitches have soft appeal, as they flow freely across the fabric. If this is your first venture into needlework, this form of embroidery is an excellent place to start. The stitches in this chapter are easy to learn and the projects work up quickly. Creative embroidery can be worked on any surface that a needle can slide through. Plain-weave fabric with a higher thread count gives a nice crisp finish to a project. All types of premade items can be embellished with embroidery, from kitchen towels to clothing to fabric shoes.

CREWEL

Crewel is the sister of creative embroidery. The word “crewel” is derived from an old Welsh word meaning wool. Even in this century, crewel projects must include a wool thread, wool-blended threads, or wool yarn to be termed crewel. Keep in mind that projects containing wool need to be dry-cleaned. The traditional crewel technique was and is worked with wool thread or Persian yarn on 100 percent linen twill. This very heavy fabric has a distinctive look with a diagonal pattern weave on both sides of the fabric. When using a bright or colorful fabric for crewel, use soft, lighter tones for the threads and yarn.

CROSS-STITCH

Cross-stitch is counted embroidery following a charted pattern, most often worked with a basic X-shaped stitch. This technique is worked on even-weave fabric, counting each stitch and working uniform cross-stitches to create the design. It is easy to learn and will give you hours of pleasure creating projects for family and friends. Before purchasing fabric for a pattern, choose the type of fabric and count size to determine the amount needed. Extra fabric is needed for finishing the project. Allow 2 to 3 inches (5 to 7.5 cm) on all sides for finishing. Before you start crossstitching a project, finish the fabric edges by zigzag or serging or apply masking tape to the fabric edges to keep them from raveling.
