Answer:	I would not. It is easy to set up because there is no bobbin, but it is almost impossible to get the stitches right enough so that they don't simply come undone. We tried and tried and an internet search revealed that lots of people had the same issues. It almost turned our then 8 year old off sewing altogether. Instead, we got her a basic sewing machine from ikea, and now at 9, she loves that one and actually uses it.

Automatic thread winding

Step 1: Press and hold the bobbin winder spool of hand wheel and turn it out in a counter clockwise direction,then insert the bobbin into the bobbin winder spool.

Step 2: Raise the thread spindle, put the thread spool on the thread spindle,wind the thread on the bobbin,then drive the machine.When winding, it is recommended to use a finger to support the thread.

Answer:	It is centimeters on it, we will do inches later.

Answer:	I've used polymer clay on this and it didn't stick to the surface. The most "stickiest" thing I've used was crafter's tape when making cards. The crafter's tape will stick to the surface but you can easily rub it off the mat. I really love this mat and it gets the most use in my craft room.
