Answer:	All depends on how deep the grout line is. I have every pad and brush and still find the best way to clean my grout is on my knees with a small stainless steel brush and muriatic acid solution. Takes for ever , but the grout looks brand new.

Answer:	I can not say with certainty, with out seeing the stain. It could be 3" dia or much larger and how long the water sat on the floor soaking in. I used it with success on my floors cleaning up different stains. It mostly depended on if they were surface stains or really soaked in. What also helped with mine was using Murphy cleaning oil mixed with some water sprinkled on the floor then using the pad while wet. If you use it, try on a remote spot first. Hope that helps

Answer:	I bought this Juki HZL-G220 specifically for free-motion quilting and I am enjoying it. My biggest disappointment was that when I ordered a box of “Juki” quilting attachment feet, I should have ordered from Sew N Vac Direct in the first place. They are the vendor who sent my Juki machine through Amazon and they are the vendor who answered all my Juki questions, such as whether the walking foot I wanted would match my machine model. If you’re buying any Juki parts for free-motion quilting, as I did, I would recommend SewNVac as the vendor you use (your Amazon order will show “shipped from” so you know the company)....don’t go with an unknown and end up with a handful of attachment feet that aren’t even Juki brand and don’t match the picture. Answer:	I chose the HZL-G220 because it was a big deal for me to have the built in thread cutting button. I did all the comparisons you are doing and this was the only difference I could tell from the description. It was SO SO worth the extra money to be able to push that scissor button to end my thread line, move my fabric to a new place, and begin a new stitch without pulling everything out, finding the scissors, cutting the threads and restarting every time I came to a new place. Wish I had invested in this years ago - quilting would have been more fun.

Answer:	I purchased this machine for my daughter so that when I visited her in another state I would have something to do. I was sewing ragtime quilts for her girls. I was concerned about sewing through so many layers and might need to get a special presser foot. I did not need anything extra. not. It is a great machine!

Answer:	The trick is to get the right needle. So look for heavy duty or denim needles . You can use Schmetz or Organ brand for this machine as well as Janome's needles. Do not use any Singer products on this machine.

Answer:	Yes, it is a good machine especially for a total beginner. Why? Because 1. It's not one of those toys going for $25.00 that breaks as soon as you plug it in, causes frustration and you end up quitting; and 2. Janome is one of the top 3 BEST sewing machine makers in the world. They stand behind their products and they do not disappoint. Very few Janomes end up in the repair shop. You want to start out with something simple so you can avoid confusion and learn the basics like I did. This machine is simple. If you have a good teacher (yeah, Youtube can be very helpful), follow the instruction manual, take your time and start with small simple projects you will do fine on this machine. This is why so many schools buy this very model for their sewing students in home ec class. This machine is white just like in the photo. It comes with a 5 pack of spare universal needles size 12 and maybe 6 spare bobbins. You should buy needles since you should change needles every project or every 4 hours of sewing time which ever comes first. Janome Brand, Organ or Schmetz flat shank are good. If you need more bobbins I would find a certified Janome dealer to buy from. Not all bobbins fit all machines. Do not use anything SINGER with this machine. Answer:	The 2010 might have a little larger throat, but it can't do what the F600 can do. Remember, the 2010 is a straight stitch only. So, nothing zig zag. It all depends on how much money you have to spend, and what you intend to do with the machine. The F600 does it all. I Free Motion Quilted a queen size on the F600. So that extra half inch wouldn't have helped much.

Answer:	Apparently there is a needle plate with a slightly larger hole to replace the original when sewing heavier fabric or seams. This according to a video reviewing this machine by Sara Lawson of SewSweetness dot com

Answer:	I use about one drop of oil in each oil hole about once week, more often if I am sewing a lot everyday, maybe once every three days. If you have oil showing up on your presser foot, you are probably using too much, also, too much oil and it can leak out of the buttons for cutting and up,down needle.

Answer:	I don't know. I bought my first one two years ago and a second one a year ago (for a second home). So I imagine they were manufactured the year I bought them. I never worried about the warranty because I've owned Jukis before. both commercial and semi-professional and have never had any problem. As far as I'm concerned, they could be sunk with the Titanic, brought up again, and they would still sew. This machine is tough and reliable.

Question:	Has anyone had problems with this machine? I had to return the first one to Juki because the machining of the needle hole was wrong
Answer:	I haven’t had great luck with knits. I ended up putting tissue paper strips on both sides of fabric to sew some rubbing on a T-shirt. I think the feed dog teeth are too sharp. Had to use my serger. Disappointed but other than that it’s fantastic. Used it for fine silk and it was amazing.
Question:	How much oil should I be using? Is it possible to over oil it, and would that do any damage to the machine
Answer:	Yes, it does. There is also a little lever inside the bobbin area that you can slide to one side which gives you a more exact straight stitch. Then, when you forget to slide it back (say, to do zig-zag), the machine won't go until you slide it back the other way. That's great for me, because I forget once I get up from the sewing machine chair! Hope this helps. I'm really enjoying this machine and believe me, there's been a learning curve for me. It sewed through three layers of webbing to repair a dog collar the other day without a hiccup.

Answer:	This machine comes with the belt but it has to be put into an actual old fashioned treadle sewing machine cabinet. There are newer cabinets that are made but they are very pricey. I was lucky enough to already have a cabinet that I had the old treadle machine switched out for the new 712T Treadle Powered Sewing Machine.

Answer:	The trick is to get the right needle. So look for heavy duty or denim needles . You can use Schmetz or Organ brand for this machine as well as Janome's needles. Do not use any Singer products on this machine.

Answer:	Yes, it is a good machine especially for a total beginner. Why? Because 1. It's not one of those toys going for $25.00 that breaks as soon as you plug it in, causes frustration and you end up quitting; and 2. Janome is one of the top 3 BEST sewing machine makers in the world. They stand behind their products and they do not disappoint. Very few Janomes end up in the repair shop. You want to start out with something simple so you can avoid confusion and learn the basics like I did. This machine is simple. If you have a good teacher (yeah, Youtube can be very helpful), follow the instruction manual, take your time and start with small simple projects you will do fine on this machine. This is why so many schools buy this very model for their sewing students in home ec class. This machine is white just like in the photo. It comes with a 5 pack of spare universal needles size 12 and maybe 6 spare bobbins. You should buy needles since you should change needles every project or every 4 hours of sewing time which ever comes first. Janome Brand, Organ or Schmetz flat shank are good. If you need more bobbins I would find a certified Janome dealer to buy from. Not all bobbins fit all machines. Do not use anything SINGER with this machine.
