Can't seem to get bobbin to take up. Once I thought it was fed, couldn't get it to lock the stitch. Had to put it down before I threw it!
Question:	Can i use a plastic bobbin
Answer:	Plastic bobbins and metal bobbins of the same size can NOT be swapped. Machines are set for a very precise tension setting. If they are set for a lighter plastic bobbin, the tension will change if a heavier metal bobbin is used. I recommend using all materials provided with the sew mighty.

Answer:	Very sorry. This mini sewing machine has no back-stitch function. But our other sewing machines have the back-stitch function.
Question:	How is this product compared to a heavy duty sewing machine
Answer:	The thread may not be going through the fabric because it could be jammed. It happens a lot, but it is super easy to fix. Look at the bobbin inside the sewing machine. If you look in there, sometimes the thread can be knotted up and causes it to jam. Also, make sure that the thread is going in all holes. I personally like to label mine! It makes it easier to see what step I need to do. Make sure the thread is not too weak, and it is strong. The thread could break, and you may not know it. When that happens, the thread does not go through the fabric.

Answer:	We provide 3 sizes of needles: size 9, for thin fabric like silks. size 11, for mid-thickness fabric like Shirts. size 14, for thick fabric like jeans. You can choose the size according to the types of fabric.

We have a guide in the manual: Under normal circumstances, the Bobbin Winder Spool is hidden inside the fuselage of the handwheel, but when you need to wind a bobbin, you can get it to pop up by twisting the handwheel clockwise. Place the empty bobbin on the Bobbin Winder Spool. Wrap the end of the thread clockwise 4-5 times around the bobbin by hand. Turn on the machine to begin the bobbin filling process. Some notes need to be cared while starting the rewind function, you can find them all in the munual.

Step:1



Ensure sewing machine is in off position before connecting to power supply.



Step:2



Push switch to turn it ON or OFF.In “ON” position switch is flush with machine.



In “OFF” position switch is extended out.Machine will start sewing immediately.Be sure the machine is properly threaded and fabric is positioned for sewing before you turn on machine.



Spring Bobbin Holder Placing: (image 3)



1.Pass the bobbin holder lock through bobbin hole.



2.Put the spring on the remaining,exposed part of the bobbin holder lock as shown in the image.



3.Insert upper bobbin in such a way that it moves in anti-clockwise direction.



4.Fit the bobbin spring holder lock in bobbin holder as shown in the image.



5.Now, pass the thread through first thread guide as shown in the image.



6.Pass the thread through 2nd thread guide.Pass the thread through tension adjusting screw & must be positioned between two washers behind the tension adjusting screw as shown in the image.



7.Pass the thread through 3rd Thread Guide on the take up lever， inserting direction towards front of the machine as shown in the image.



8.Pull thread down through 4th thread guide&insert thread from top to downward direction as per image.



9.Pull down the thread through thread guide& lower the needle to reach 5th thread guide by turning the handwheel slowly counter clockwise(in the direction towards you) to lower the needle as per image.



10.Insert thread through eye of the needle from left to right (if necessary use needle threader from right to left) as shown in the image.



11.Pull down about 10 inches of thread through the needle as shown in the image.

How to thread? (Step by Step)

1. Fit the bobbin spring holder lock in bobbin holder as shown in the image.

2. Now, pass the thread through first thread guide as shown in the image.

3. Pass the thread through tension adjusting screw & must be positioned between two washers behind the tension adjusting screw as shown.

4. Pass the thread through 2nd thread guide.

5. Pass the thread through 3rd Thread Guide on the take up lever， inserting direction towards front of the machine as shown in the image.

Hook Bottom Line

A. Place the bobbin with thread of your choice in the bobbin holder in clockwise direction leaving about 10 inches of thread extended out form the bobbin holder through the gap as per the image.

B. Move the foot lever up

C. The presser foot is raised

D. 1 is the Bottom thread；2 is Bobbin thread

E. Turn the handwheel counterclockwise until the needle comes down completely.

F. Pull it gently up and you will see the bottom thread has caught bobbin thread. Pull the two threads out as shown in the picture.

How to Get A New Bobbin Coil

Step 1: Take out the thread of 1 bobbin from all thread guide.

Step 2: Place an empty bobbin at position 2 in the picture.

Step 3: Place the selected thread at position 3 in the figure, and pull out the thread and wrap it around the empty bobbin.

Step 4: Lift the thread slightly as shown in the image, and turn on the power to wind the thread.

How to Change the Needle

Raise the needle bar, prepare an empty bobbin, hold the needle bar with one hand, then use the bobbin to loosen the thimble screw, take out the old needle, install the new needle. Please note that the plane of the needle must face the needle clamp screw direction, then insert the needle into the needle hole and push it to the bottom, and finally tighten the screw.
