Question:	Is there a big difference between the big Shot and the plus, width wise? It appears to be minimal according to the measurements
Answer:	Absolutely! You can put a whole sheet of cardstock through and unable to do that with the big shot, you can also cut more dies at a time if you are doing several for a card or scrapbooking
Question:	Do they have the silicone rubber mat and textures pad for the big shot plus
Answer:	No, it does not come with a rubber mat or texture pad. It comes with the platform, A & B plates and two clear cutting plates. I am able to use the rubber pad and creasing pad, which I purchased separately, for my regular Big Shot and it works fine. Note: I noticed that the plus machine has a lot more pressure and it leaves an impression of the die on the top clear plate when used together with the new precision (metal) cutting plate. It also warped my wafer thin die. I think it would have been ok had I not used the precision cutting plate.
Question:	What is in the box
Answer:	Big Shot Plus; platform; adapter sheets A & B and a pair of cutting pads.I've only had it a few days and played a little bit. So far love it! You can cut a whole lot of things at once, do several embossing folders in one pass and the large folders are no problem.Hope this helps.
Question:	Can you use the standard cutting plates from the Big Shot with the magnetic cutting platform in the Big Shot Plus
Answer:	Yes, you can use magnetic board, or any other boards that fit big kick or big shot in this machine. I Used the magnetic board, the clear plate on top, my die -blade up, paper on top and then the clear cutting board. This board will go the long way into Big Shot because it is 9" wide. I did learn that if you slant your dies on the magnet they cut out nicer. Folks PLEASE go to YOUTUBE.com and ask for Big Shot Plus tutorials. You will learn alot. Answer:	Yes, as long as it is small/narrow enough to fit thru the opening. Thinlits or framelits work fine. You could not fit a platform ( thick ) die....I do not think.
Question:	I have a hard time shimming my original sidekick. Is this new one improved that detail or do you still find yourself adding additional shimming
Answer:	The updated version has thicker acrylic cutting plates to accommodate wafer thin dies. No adapter nor thick shimming is needed.
Question:	What's the difference between the special edition and the other
Answer:	I don’t see any difference - except the price! I have the white/grey option and it came with the cutting plates, embossing plate and dies and embossing folders. I am very happy with it. I have a regular size big shot but so many of my dies are small and I can use this right at my crafting table.
Question:	Wondering if you ended up buying the larger size Sizzix? The dies need the be very small for this machine
Answer:	I already have the full size Big Shot. Just bought this for smaller dies and does not take up as much room on my work space.

Answer:	It is a "shim" that's necessary for cutting wafer thins but it comes with the Vagabond when you buy it. Good youtubes to watch are put out by Scrapbooking made Simple. Love my vagabond 2!
Question:	How well does this work with Anna Griffin dies
Answer:	I have had no trouble with many brands of thin, intricate dies. All of the brands may have issues with cutting completely, but it's the dies that are the issue, not the Vagabond. Go to YouTube to get suggestions for solving this issue...placing dies closer go the edges, using additional paper or scotch tape shims, etc. I bought the Vagabond 2 because my original Vagabond, nearly 10 years old, gave up the ghost after thousands of cuts. I love my Vagabond and would recommend it highly.
Question:	Is this machine an improvement over the original Vagabond? How so
Answer:	Yes...it is quieter and less likely to jam. My old Vagabond got knocked on the floor by my cat and just quit working. The improvements are significant. but I wouldn't replace a working Vagabond with this one...As long as your machine works, use it.
Question:	What comes with this? Does it include the adapter and clear cutting plates
Answer:	Mine came with the platform, two clear cutting plates and the thin adapter for using the thin dies. I purchased the longer cutting plates separately.

Answer:	Hello Eileen, I have tried but I personally wouldn't recommend it.. because the dies are thin, you need to make the plates thicker and when I tried it I ended up slightly damaging the machine, not enough so I can't use it to embosse, but enough to not try die cutting again.. hope this helps you. 

Answer:	Actually, I purchased a longer magnetic platform that the same length as the extended platform. Works great!

Answer:	I have been using the platform and the normal two plastic cutting plates. So far I haven't needed any shims. But, remember each machine is different, so if your machine is not as tight in the rollers as mine might be, you may need a shim. I really like this magnetic platform for the wafer thin dies. I don't think you will regret buying one.

Answer:	Spellbinders Nestabilities can definitely be used with the Sizzix Magnetic Platform. I use it all the time and love it.

Answer:	I have a Sizzix Sidekick and really like it. It is a good beginner machine, and works well for most tasks. I am saving up for a larger machine that will make it possible to use some of the larger template, or cut out more at a time. So far, for card making ,the sidekick is a good little machine. I just have to be careful that I don't buy the larger templates made for the larger machines.

Answer:	I believe they last just as long. The only difference is the color. The material is the same.

Answer:	There aren't any problems seeing through these pads. I love mine but don't use them both together. I use a clear one for the bottom and the colored one on top. That way I never cut into the colored one by mistake. And when the bottom on wears out I switch the colored one to the bottom & use the other clear one on top. I like to always have one unmarked pad.

Answer:	We used our bathroom scales to weigh the machine. The machine by itself weighs 26 lbs. The tray and platforms needed for the machine weigh an additional 10.6 lbs.

Answer:	Not much as I recall. But that is OK because you should look at the booklet to decide what you want to use it for. I think I received 2 of the big extended clear plastic cutting pads, the extended tray and adapter pad. In order to cut right out of the box, I had to thicken my sandwich with manila file folders. I read the booklet and then I bought more of those big cutting pads. I wouldn't bother with the smaller sizes as you can always put little work under a big pad, but not the reverse. I also bought mylar shims, a silicone rubber sheet and a crease pad to allow for embossing and creasing. This thing is heavy duty and cuts beautifully. I have been cranking out Christmas cards and snowflakes all month. I have 3 electronic cutter and 2 other small hand operated die cutters, but this is my favorite. I can even make prints from etchings and lino cuts.
Question:	Does this work well for cutting fabric
Answer:	It works wonderfully on fabric. I cut 73 fat quarters for a large queen quilt with a custom die in 2hrs flat. It can cut up to 8 layers of fabric at a time. I cut 6 or 8 layers easily, and most importantly, accurately. The quilt is going together like butter since all the pieces are perfectly cut. Also, I noticed a lot less fabric fraying. I also bought a die for 2 1/2" strips for binding and turning left over fabric into jelly roll strips for another quilt. You can use Accuquilt dies in it but you can't use Sizzix dies in Accuquilt, that's the main reason I bought it. It is worth every penny! LOVE IT!

Question:	do these work on the original sizzex die cutter
Answer:	I use it on a Big Kick And works fine.
Question:	Will these work with the sizzix side kick
Answer:	I do not see why not. Size is s small do it would fit. I use mine with Spellbinder Grand Calibur. They work beautifully. Cut with one pass.
Question:	I am just wondering what is the easiest way to attach these words to cards? Glue seems like it would be really messy
Answer:	I think the best, and most economical adhesive is Thermal Web Sticky Dots which are available in a package of 12 sheets that ate 9" x 12". I cut the sheets in half because they are easier to use. AFTER you cut the die cut, you peel back the waxed paper sheet of the sticky dots and lay your die cut down on the sticky dots. Fold the waxed paper back over the die cut and give a good rub down. Peel back the waxed paper and peel off the die cut. Because the adhesive is dotted, only the adhesive under the die cut is removed. The same piece of Sticky Dots can be used over and over because there are always enough adhesive dots remaining to use again. When most of the dots are gone, you can just throw it away and use a new sheet. These are not messy, as some people have said if you follow the directions. Don't cut sticky dots sheets to size and put on uncut paper. Don't remove the waxed paper and try to press the die cut onto the sticky dots, or yes, it will get allover your fingers. I teach stamping classes and use these with all my students and they are so successful with the sticky dots. I purchased one package of 12 sheets a year ago, I use them in all my classes, and I still haven't run out!

Answer:	All of the words are 1 3/8" tall. Congrats is 2 3/8" long. Happy is 2 5/8" long. Thank is 1 7/8"long. Use those as a guide for the rest of the words. Hope this helps.....Kevin
