Answer:	NO, NO, NO....I bought one of these 4 days ago at a local retailer. It says made in USA all over the box. Before I bought it, I called the number on the website, and asked the customer support person where it was made. She told me that the parts are made in the USA, but they are assembled in Mexico. I was looking for an AMERICAN MADE, AMERICAN BUILT unit, but I was under a time crunch. Reluctantly, I bought it. I opened the box, and the first thing I saw was a sticker on the motor that said made in china, plain as day. I used this thing one time. It did work, and made ice cream as advertised, but after washing it, drying the parts, and putting it away, I looked at it again 2 days later, and the metal mechanism that the paddles attach to were rusting!! Are you kidding me?? $270.00 for one batch of ice cream! What a bargain. Needless to say I returned it today. Their own company doesn't even know where their products are made!! If it seems like I am upset, I am. Nothing is made in the USA anymore, and quality suffers tremendously. By the way, all the inside metal parts are plated, not stainless steel like they should be. The only thing I saw that was stainless was the actual cylinder. Don't waste your money. If anyone out there knows of a truly American made and American built ice cream maker, please tell us on here.

Answer:	Wow, way too many to even try and list. Has anywhere from I love Lucy (B&W) to James Gandolfini in Soparanos. Most are from the 70's-80's though, Dukes of Hazard, Charlie's Angels, Star Trek, Bonanza, That Girl, Wonder Women, Roots, American Bandstand, Johnny Carson, Happy Days...For my age group (mid forties-fifties) It was super fun as I could recall all the characters. If it is someone in their 20's early 30's the majority of the characters might not be known. Hope this helps.

Answer:	The description says that it can make frozen yogurt - to just use the ice cream setting. Cook's has a delicious recipe for frozen ginger yogurt, including instructions on how to keep it from tasting chalky or being too "icy".
Question:	Can I purchase extra bowls to freeze in refrigerator and if so, where do I go or what is the part number on Amazon to acquire them
Answer:	I bought the Tovolo Ice cream tubs and they are very sturdy with a removable inner plastic liner for easy cleaning. The large bowl itself that fits inside the machine is not supposed to have ice cream frozen in it because it can damage it. I leave the empty bowl in my freezer until I'm ready to make a batch and then empty the contents into a Tovolo tub. I looked at other tubs but this brand seemed to have the best reviews, was reusable, and decent in price. They fit about 1.5 quarts and I have a little extra in the machine that I either eat or just put in a small Tupperware dish. I know you can go directly on the Cuisinart website if you need any part numbers for a specific model. I did see extra bowls for the machine on their site and on amazon. Just get your model number for your machine and type that in the search box.

Answer:	Capacity: The 200 Ls makes 2 quarts at the most; the 15 Ls 1.6 quarts at the most, cause you can make less on both.Timer: on the 200, you can go up or down to set the time, on the 15, only down, so if you skip the time you want to enter, keep on pressing the same button till you get it right, it will start from 60 mins again and go down again.Of course the display is on a different position but those are the only differences. Both will keep cooling the ice cream if you don't take it out immediately after it finishes. The 15 doesn't display that it is mixing or that it is only cooling, but alternates the remaining time and the temperature reached.

Question:	I just received mine today and the right side seems to bulge slightly open from the front and rear view. Is this normal
Answer:	I just looked at mine and there is a slight bulge just right of center on the front - hadn't noticed it. Doesn't seem dented or anything - maybe just a little bulge to accommodate the cooling compressor. FYI - I have made almost 50 quarts of ice cream with no problems what-so-ever. You only need to put in about 3 cups of mix as the volume expands as it mixes and freezes. It will NOT freeze solid. When it gets stiff and barely turns, you need to shut it off - scrape the dasher and bannister into another container - I use quart size cardboard containers - and put in your freezer to finish the freezing process.

Question:	What do you do to preserve the bucket longer
Answer:	The rock salt is much larger than table salt and makes the ice melt quicker. You want the ice to melt quicker so the canister can turn easier which makes the ice cream quicker and better. You can find a more scientific answer if you Google it.

Answer:	Both plastic but the motor has a horribly cheap gear setup that fails after 5 uses.

Answer:	Gears are made of plastic. mine stripped after 10 batches of Ice cream. Could not find a place to order a new gear so I took a pair of pliers and pinched the metal to make the gears get better contact. Hand crank stills works though.

Answer:	No, it doesnt. It just needs ice around the canister while youre making the ice cream. No pre - freezing the canister required.

Answer:	If only your canister is turning, then the ice is to compacted. Add a bit of warm water as it’s turning to get the canister to stop turning. Canister should only turn once ice cream is thick enough to stop the process.
