Question:	Are these considered “Washable” for little messes with little ones
Answer:	We, 4-art seller are located in St.Petersburg, Russia. We get a direct supply from Nevskaya Palitra Manufacture, including this 36 pieces set. Which means all our products are authentic, Russian, NOT Yarka watercolours. As we know Yarka has a license for this paints but as you see from many reviews on Yarka products - they're not exactly the same comparing to the original Nevskaya Palitra paints.

Answer:	I Started using these watercolors from College in 1973 and still use them. BFA and MFA. I have found nothing better out there. used original palette pan until 1993 and had to replace it. Dropped it one time to many. Have replaced each pan and use the empties to hold some custom Colors for future use. like Flesh tones. got an empty Palette to hold them. They went with me were ever I went in the Navy for 24 years They went with me seven time around the world. I would recommend to any one. even beginners. My Granddaughter just started painting so she will be getting a set of these for Christmas.

Answer:	It depends on what you mean. There a colors like yellow ochre and some rose colors that mix light skin tones easily. There are also sepia/umber browns that can be the base of darker skin tones. But it's not like some of the premade pastel skin tone palettes out there; this is a more balanced selection that can mix virtually anything without muddiness.
Question:	Are these better than Sakura koi watercolor set? Are they chalky and have a nice range of skin colors? Is the water brush good
Answer:	I have this set and Koi. I love this set because of the vibrancy of the colors, no problem with mixes turning to mud, and not chalky. I've painted light and medium skin tones with both; and light, medium, and dark skin tone with Koi. I haven't used the brush yet but as close as I've been about to figure out, it's a Size 3 with pointed end. I hope that helps.

Question:	How about the brushes that comes with the kit? Do I need to buy extra brushes
Answer:	The external louvers are hinged and only open when the fan is blowing OUT. If you were to reverse the fan the louvers would be sucked closed. Search for "gable fan", and look for the style where the fan is in a metal tube. With this style it would be easy to make a simple wooden box frame deep enough to allow you to mount the fan so it's blowing in instead of out. For the outside cover, look for "gable vent" with fixed louvers.

Question:	Would you recommend these for an adult beginner
Answer:	It depends entirely on what you're spraying. If it's a water based paint, a gentle scrubbing with a kitchen sponge and water should work. Oil or solvent based? Don't even try. You'd destroy it with the caustic solvents and scrubbing required to re-emulsify the paint for removal. That being said - if you REALLY don't want project overspray, a piece of cardboard behind what you're spraying, or just holding a piece of cardboard in your hand and moving it around behind the thing you're spraying as you go will minimize overspray down to negligible levels. This thing should last a good, GOOD long time if you take that single minor precaution. Well more than long enough to pay for itself in ease of setup versus the time you spend setting up a DIY paint booth.
Question:	Can you remove the individual color cakes from the tray

Colour Range

Traditionally the white of the paper provides the brilliance to water colour and can be used as highlights. However, some artists utilize Chinese White for highlights at the end of their painting or in dulling some colour mixtures down.
