Answer:	Hi there,No, the #8 flat is more a 0 07⁄16 inch (or 1.1 cm) but the #12 filbert is almost a 3/4 inch. You may want to consider this option as filberts are extremely versatile and a workhorse as you can twist the edge slightly to make crisp curves, use the edge at an angle for a nice line, and use the tip for fine detail. Answer:	I use Tupperware because its water proof. Put paper towels at the bottom wet it and place parchment paper on top. Super inexpensive and better. Hope this helps! Nate

Answer:	Hello, it's my honor to answer your question. Our brush hair are made of hog hair.
Question:	Are the handles painted? What are they made of? I like to avoid painted handles
Answer:	This set of brushes is best for oils and can be manageable for acrylics and/or gouache. They would be inappropriate for use with watercolors as they are far too stiff. These brushes do shed, so that is an issue too. I paint with heavy body acrylics and I rarely use these brushes as the bristles tend to fray. When I first got these brushes as my starter set, I thought they were pretty good. Now, with 4 months of acrylic painting experience under my belt, I wish I had not purchased them. I would have been better off buying 5 or 6 well-chosen brushes for the same money from Jerry's or Blick's.
Question:	Hello are these compatible with lacquer/conversion lacquer and lacquer thinner
Answer:	Yes if you are using oil based paints. No for acrylic paint. Liquid soap and water for acrylic paint. I use mineral spirits to clean oil brushes first and then follow it with mild soap and water. I use Murphy's Oil Soap or Castille liquid soap.

Answer:	Yes and they dry smooth without and loss of bristles. I'm happy with the quality and would recommend.

Answer:	Yes, they should be. To give you a small idea, when brushed along your finger it feels kind of like stiff mouse fur. No drag and unless you press, no real pressure.

Answer:	I gifted these to a friend and she does work with oils, she said they were very nice paintbrush’s. I think what else would she say? However I do believe she really like them.
