Answer:	No! Absolutely not. However, do not fret because Howard's makes a phenomenal product just for the purpose you're inquiring about. It is 100% food-grade, non-toxic and won't become rancid or foul the way countless other oils will. I personally use the two part system that provides a FANTASTIC DETERGENT-FREE cleaner that is followed by the amazing wood conditioner.....here is the item: B07H2NT5XH Btw, you can get them separately, this just happens to be an amazing deal AND it is precisely what you need! I can attest to the awesomeness of their entire line of products, but I swear by the butcher block conditioner as it has been beyond my wildest dreams for protecting a handmade butcher block that is a Texas flag, where walnut is used for the vertical blue, maple for the star and horizontal white and red oak for the horizontal red portions of the flag. Lemme tell ya, it is GORGEOUS and it was beautiful to start with, but after 4 separate applications (one per week for a month just for extra good measure) that cutting board is so vibrant, smooth, eye-catching and has the most exquisite shine that I simply can't bear the thought of scoring the surface with knives now! I do recommend that you heat a large Pyrex or similar measuring cup full of water in the microwave....DO NOT BOIL, AS THAT MUCH HEAT WILL DEFORM THE BOTTLE BADLY....just about 150-170°F is plenty. Pop the top of the dispenser-cap just slightly to vent the pressure that will build up and set the bottle of conditioner in the hot water bath until it goes from a milky, opaque appearance to nearly transparent and more oily appearance. Only takes a few minutes, but then dispense onto your WELL CLEANED salad bowls, utensils, cutting board, etc., using a microfiber or other lint free, super soft rag, being certain to rub WITH THE GRAIN for best penetration! You may see folks applying in circular motion, but just as with sanding wood, this is best for applying oils, conditioners, stains & sealers!

Answer:	It is a paste but more solid than some. Easy to gather some up on an applicator cloth and apply. I like this wax, and while I use others too, coming back to this one is like coming home.

Answer:	I have been working with chalk paint a lot and use this brand for finishing my projects. I like this brand, but I will not use this wax when my project is painted on a “bright white color” due that the finished will end with a very slightly amber touch, but if I paint my projects on an antique white color, I don’t hesite to use this clear wax, because I love the result. So my answer is YES it will work great on ASCP Old white (never on bright white)

Answer:	On any natural color grain wood, I would say it is 95 percent clear once buffed, and for woods not on the extreme range of the spectrum, (extremely dark or light), 99 percent clear. I wouldnt use on white painted wood if you required zero tinting though.

Answer:	Yes but multiple coats will be needed to do a color change from dark brown to antique white. Shabby Chic Chalk Furniture Paint is genuine quality made in the UK. Answer:	It is not clear. It is a yellowish green color in the jar, and appears clear when applied to finished wood. I have used it on unfinished wood as a simple waxing treatment/finishing layer and it does darken the wood a bit.

Answer:	Hello. This is a tough question to answer without more details. Our polish contains bees wax and mink oil that will certainly help to lubricate wrought iron and will HELP prevent rusting on it. We recommend it for wrought iron. However, if the furniture already has rust on it, it will not remove the rust. Other factors that come into play are the location where you live, the humidity where you live and the frequency that you would put the polish on the furniture. Once rust has started, you will want to treat it to stop the rust before applying our polish or any product to help prevent rust. Hope this info helps some!

Answer:	Yes, Durabak is repairable. However, prior to doing the touch up you should lightly sand the area with 80 grit sandpaper. This will help the new Durabak bond with the old Durabak. After sanding, clean the area of any shavings and when completely dry you could apply the new Durabak. Do not use any Xylene on previously applied Durabak.

Answer:	Yes! You absolutely can - providing you do a couple of things in the prep. First clean it well, then just very lightly roughen the tops of the peaks of the texture with about 80 grit sandpaper. By just scoring it a little, you will help the new Durabak to have something to grab onto and help it attain a mechanical bond as well as a chemical bond. Then, of course, clean off any of the shavings and then you are ready to apply.
