Answer:

MFi actually meant “Made for iPod,” when the acronym was trademarked, though nowadays people just refer to it as “Made for iDevice.” As far as the cables, yes, I agree the Apple ones, especially for fast charging are the best. I use Anker cables, too for other things and own about 12 Anker power banks, as their batteries last forever. But something needs to be clarified here: a USB-C male to male is only intended for newer iPad Pro 12.9” models. To my knowledge everything else uses USB-C male to Lightning, so make sure you double check what you need.

Answer:	I am not sure of the size of large index cards. I would say if the size of the cards are smaller than the pencil case measurements you would be good.
