Answer:	I am sorry but I can't answer this question as I have only used these watercolor painting on paper. I guess if you use tubes of water color paints to paint dolls you could try the pencils. They work similarly.

Answer:	If referring to water color pencils the answers is yes. However in taking a water color class the instructor suggested sharpening your own with a knife you can buy in a hardware store.

Answer:	Buy the Expert Watercolor pencils (WCP) if possible. The color names & lightfastness information are the same, but the paint core isn't nearly as strong. I've had my Expert WCP since Jan 2019 & have never experienced a broken lead --even when I carried them with me on a daily basis. I received the Premium WCP set today for my 7year old niece & in the process of sharpening them & comparing them to my Expert set 3 leads were broken. Both sets are great products, but the break-resistant core of the Expert WCP makes a huge difference. You'll have to replace the Premium way faster than the Expert pencils because of the issues with core breakage. Save your money & wait for a sale as they have them fairly often. Check here & and the Arteza website. I purchased the Premium pencils on Arteza's website for around $12 but got my Expert WCP for about $20 on Amazon. It just depends upon who is running a better sale. ALWAYS check both sites before making a purchase.

Answer:	Yes they are watercolor pencils. I highly recommend them. The are a smooth coloring pencil & you don't have to force the color out of them. The only negative is they don't come numbered or with names. My solution was the create a color chart and label the pencils.

Question:	Can you remove the leaves in the binder
Answer:	The pencils are dry until you wet them, but if you use watercolor paper (140lb) the colors will not bleed through like they would using other types of paper.

Answer:	I wish it did, but it does not have true skin tones. there is a peachy tone which I mixed with white, but still was not true. I really like the pencils except for that problem. I wish would come out with bigger set of more colors. jc

Question:	Does it say non toxic, acid-free on the box
Answer:	It does not say on the box. On the website it says nontoxic, but I've yet to find anything that says acid free.
Question:	Has anyone used these for Doll repaint? Are the pigmented enough
Answer:	I haven't used them for doll repainting, but I tried it on cloth and a paper towel just now and it made noticeable, but not vibrant marks. When I scribbled some pencil onto my palette and dipped my brush into it and applied that to the cloth and the paper towel, it was as vibrant as you could want it to be (brilliantly so). When I touched the brush to the tip of the pencil to wet it and then scribbled on the cloth and paper towel, it was also brilliantly vibrant. Keep in mind, though, that these are watercolor pencils, so they're not going to leave permanent marks on your dolls. If that's what you're after, these should work. I can imagine that they would work nicely for adding blush to some cheeks or eye shadow or brows to a doll's face, and you sure get a lot of colors to work with.
Question:	are skin tones included in the set
Answer:	This set does not come with a separate tray with skin tones. However the colors contained within can certainly be used to produce any “skin tone” needed.
Question:	How well do these work over gesso
Answer:	I have not tried gesso. They will color over clear satin glaze (dried), so I would think gesso would work as well.
