The different papers to color will determine if you like them or not. The "toothier" the paper, the better they blend. But printer paper, glossy paper are not the best papers to use with these. I also use Prisma and they don't work that well with glossy paper either. I guess it depends on what you personally like. I'm buying another set because I've used several right down to little nubs. US Art Supply 50 Piece Adult Coloring Book Artist Grade Colored Pencil Set
is well known, but quality has crashed. They are super thin, hard to shade, color is a huge problem to apply to paper. I really can't stand these colored pencils. I've done art for years, shading, coloring, coloring books, free hand, and professionally trained. If you want to shade, these are NOT for you. If you enjoy coloring, these are NOT for you. I've never had so much difficulty trying to get the color applied to paper, and this product requires coloring over & over & over to fill in a simple coloring book. These cause blisters from being extremely thin (like chop sticks), just a nightmare. Also, color does NOT go down easy.I tried to save money, thought I was getting a good deal (50 colored pencils), well, welcome to the incredible shrinking product, not quality any more. I wish I followed the bad reviews.

These come in a great variety of colors, but the pigment is so subtle. You really have to color hard or over and over to get the colors to pop. Otherwise they all look pastel and not vivid. Pass. Unfortunately, I bought two packs-one for a friend and one for myself.
