Answer:	Yes, the sets do overlap. For instance, there are three overlapping colors between the “Bright” and the “Primary” sets. I wish they wouldn’t have done so we could collect all 96 through the sets but that’s just not how it works apparently :( I have the primaries, secondaries, galaxy, and pastels and the rest of the sets (muted, greys, landscapes, etc.) all have overlapping colors with what I have.
Question:	Would these work on glass? Or will they bleed
Answer:	There are definitely 96 colors (they each are identified by specific number, e.g., 837, 536, etc. but I find that some of them are very similar, although not absolute duplicates. Subtle differences in tone and saturation. Still, I'm happy with the set.

Answer:	Yes, 96 colors is the complete set. With one of them being a blender pen technically there are 95 'colors'. You can verify by looking at Tombow's website. 

Question:	can these be used on black paper
Answer:	I've used both this and the Faber Castell PITT brush pens.Tombows are brighter, tranparent, easier to blend, and have longer, more flexible brush tips; I'd roughly compare Tombow to watercolor because of its luminosity. I find these easier to work with and express greater range of colors (more color selections too, as far as I know); however, the big drawbacks are that these are not lightfast, and to some people, not waterproof.Faber Castells are darker and less transparent, have shorter and stiffer tips, do not blend well and have less range of colors so it is difficult to express subtle shadows and gradations with them (I use them with grayscale to make up for this). However, their color is deeper and richer; the pens are smaller so they're easier to keep in your backpack all the time, and importantly, they are fade-resistant and (to some people) waterproof.Neither is perfect, but I enjoy using both.

Pressure

Using the brush tip, apply a light amount of pressure (using mainly the tip of the brush) to apply a light layer of color. Apply even more pressure (using the full width of the brush) to apply a darker layer of color.

Streaking

Use the broad chisel tip to create straight, consecutive lines to fill large areas. Apply one layer for lighter fills and multiple layers for darker fills.

Feathering

Apply more pressure at the beginning of the stroke and release pressure at the end of stroke using a flicking motion. Use light, swift strokes to create a feathered edge for blending.

Circular Strokes

Use the brush tip to draw small circular shapes to create an even distribution of color. This creates a more saturated fill.

Step 1

Draw a shape and fill with ink using the lightest pressure to create the first layer of color. For best results, use a hard lead pencil to draw outlines to prevent smudging.

Step 2

Apply a second layer by starting from the bottom and filling the shape 2/3 of the way to the top. Use a flicking motion to feather color at the end of each stroke.

Step 3

Apply a third layer of color by adding slightly more pressure and coming up 2/3 of the way to the top of the previous layer. Repeat this step until you reach desired saturation.
