| Answer: | I use mine indoors without any mess. Airbrushes are much cleaner than using cans of spray paint, you don't get all the overspray or odors. A properly setup airbrush should not produce a lot of overspray nor drips, but you do need to take some precautions. Always use a some type of absorbent protection under the work and something behind and beside the work to catch any overspray. For smaller projects, a large cardboard box makes and excellent (and cheap) paint booth. I would suggest using only water based paints indoors, and read the manuals and search the internet for tips on airbrushing technique. |

With sharpies having the clip it should secure them a little better. It's best for slightly thicker markers if they don't have a clip, but I have pens and mechanical pencils in some of my slots as well and they stay, since they have clips as well. |
