Answer:	Black mat board does not necessarily offer an impervious surface. It depends on the markers and what their colour is made up of. I am an artist and I experiment all the time. I probably have at least 10 or 15 brands I have tried. I give thumbs up to this product.

Answer:	I used these on two different chalk boards. Left it about a week. Washed the boards 4 times and I can still clearly see what was written on my chalk boards. The claim in the description you can write on any surface and wipe clean with a damp cloth have not been my experience with this product.

Question:	Where are these made
Answer:	I would not use them on Bible pages. This is similar to paint.
Question:	Do these glow under a blacklight
Answer:	Like other markers, there is some bleed through with chalk markers. I use paper between pages until the ink is dry. There are also some books that have black backs. But if you have drawings on both sides of the page in the coloring book, you will rise losing half of the drawings due to bleed through.
Question:	Can you rite on windows or do you need a special eraser
Answer:	I don’t know, if they work on fabric. I would try using them, on a sample, of the same kind, of fabric you want to use them on. Give it a good, dark writing with multiple colors like red, black and blue (because those colors tend to be the hardest to get out, of fabrics in general) and wash them after the color has set in good and see what happens?
Question:	Does this easily wipe off with dry cloth? Im looking for something that'll stay on, but not permanently. Does this come off with damp cloth
Answer:	If you turn them around from the bullet point to the chisle you could manage to write on the labels.

Question:	Does this need base primer to bond the acrylic? I recall needing to brush on a coat of that when i used to do my nails yrs ago before acrylic

Answer:	No...but I have used it on metal (boxcontainer) and glass (mason jars)...easy clean up. Did not stain or leave residue of writing. Do a test only on the glass. But the sun can stain the paint on the window glass. Will not come off rubber!!!!

Answer:	I have not drawn on the sidewalk with these, however, I imagine the rough texture of a sidewalk would ruin the tips of the markers. Additionally, they would run out of ink fairly quickly. It's probably best just to stick to regular chalk.

​1. Will these liquid chalk markers work on my chalkboard?



Chalkboards are produced by a large variety of manufacturers and come in a wide range of materials. As a result, it is important to determine if your chalkboard has a porous or non-porous surface. If your chalkboard is made from a non-porous material (like slate chalkboards, glass, mirrors, etc.) liquid chalk markers are extremely easy to erase with just a damp cloth. For porous chalkboard surfaces, the pigment can get absorbed by the surface causing a shadow to be left behind when removed. This is true of all liquid chalk markers on the market.



2. Can I use these liquid chalk markers on my painted wall?



Painted (and unsealed) surfaces are very porous and it can absorb the pigment from the ink and will leave a shadow when removed. Some may not erase at all. It’s all about the surface. We highly recommend sealing a painted surface with a clear sealer first before using liquid chalk markers on them.



3. The chalk markers seem to be drying out and won’t write or they are too watery. What should I do?



When they appear to be dry or watery, shaking them vigorously for at least 30 seconds usually resolves the problem. Make sure the cap is on tight before shaking. Then prime the tip by pumping it on a clean surface until ink flows smoothly (this can take up to 30 seconds the first time or if they haven’t been used in a while).



4. The tip is frayed. Can I replace them?



Each packet comes with replacement tips and it is really easy to replace them. You just need to pull it out gently then put in the new one properly. Please make sure to hold the marker with the tip facing up while replacing it and prime the tip first before use. You can use a paper towel to prevent ink from getting on your hands.
