User questions & answers
Question: | Anyone know what the core size is |
Answer: | "This outstanding selection offers 68 assorted Polycolor Colored Pencils, 10 Polycolor Grey Shades, and 22 Rembrandt Drawing Pencils, plus a kneadable eraser, 2 paper wipers, 1 knife, and a sandpaper block" This is from the product description for the 105 set. According to that, it expands the grey selection of the 72 set and also includes the other items listed. |
Question: | Whats the difference btw 72 and 105 in terms of color pencils it has |
Answer: | The 72 set comes with TWO colorless blender pencils, in addition to the colored pencils, so you are getting 74 pencils altogether. As for being as good as Faber Castell Polychromos, that is simply a matter of opinion. I have a complete set of the Faber Castell Polychromos, and they are rapidly becoming my favorite colored pencil after years being in a love-hate relationship with Prismacolor (ongoing quality control issue over many years and many parent companies). I just got my set of Lyra pencils (ordered from a different vendor), and I'm just getting to know them. So far, I really find them beautiful and easy to use. I own several brands of pencils, including the regular Crayola pencils, and they all are different from one another. I want to point out that if you have a heavy hand, these are much, much softer than the FB Polychromos. Probably closer to Prismacolor in creaminess, which is why for the best results, you want to use several light layers to get a deeper color or to get a burnished surface to avoid breaking or smooshing down the leads. I do want to point out that oil based pencils are not prone to "bloom". Bloom is when a milky haze forms over your surface due to waxes rising (which may not even happen with wax pencils depending on several factors). This haze can literally be wiped off with a tissue, or prevented with a good commercial fixatif. People, including reviewers on YouTube often use "bloom" to describe what happens when fill out the "tooth" of the paper, either on purpose or by accident, and you can't get any other layers on (if you press really hard onto fairly smooth paper, this can happen quite quickly). They've burnished basically. Some really cheap pencils may be more wax than pigment, so that you get more of an annoying waxy sheen than color, but even that really isn't "bloom". ANYHOO...there ARE tons of reviews out on YouTube and on the web that will do demonstrations of various pencils. I suggest you watch a few to determine if these pencils are for you. One another thing I do want to point out, is that there are at present, ONLY 72 colors available in this line. Faber Castell has 120 colors . Like FB, Lyras are open stock, so you can order individual pencils to replace colors you use up quickly. The colors are beautiful, but they are more muted than the FB Polychromos. Not dull, mind you, but they seem soft and very natural and the color choices would be ideal for things like flowers and landscapes. Colors are also ideal for portraits for those who can actually mix colors for realistic tones and not rely on one or two pencils to create realistic "flesh" tones. |
Question: | Does the 72 set include a colorless blended? are these are good as faber castell polychromos |
Answer: | This is one of the very few artist grade oil pencils available( others are polychromos, carandach'e pablos ).For blending there are 2 Lyra splendor pencils in 72 set apart from 72 colors included in this box indeed utter useless. You can use prismacolor blender or derwent blender pencils or use OMS(odourless mineral spirit) like Gamsol for blending .But i remind you this is top quality oil based pencils that you won't regret along with Faber Castell Polychromos. |
Question: | Are these pencil wax or oil based? How do you blend colors with them |
Answer: | Ni. The bed skirt is a good fabric and we'll made. I too have black metal legs on bed frame and they do not show |

User questions & answers
Question: | Is this compatible with Samsung A51 5g |
Answer: | This ASIN B0728HBD7F is the classic Noris digital. The other ASINS B07RM8ZNCH, B07RK358HQ, B07RL6Y69M, B07RM8ZJQ1 are the Noris digital for Chromebook styli which are a color variation with special focus on Chromebooks in red, yellow, green or blue. With our Noris digital we would like to get as close as possible to the natural writing experience of a real pencil and have focused our design on this. Therefore the Noris digital is made of WOPEX - the same material that we use for our STAEDTLER coloured and graphite pencils. You can find information about WOPEX at www.wopex.com. We recommend that you carry the Noris digital in a pencil case. If it is transported loose in a bag or backpack, it is possible that it will be exposed to pressure from other objects in the bag. This way the stylus will break, just like a normal pencil would do. We hope for your understanding that our pencil stylus is not as resilient as you are used to from comparable styli made of plastic or stainless steel material. Best regards Your STAEDTLER service team |
Question: | Whats the difference between this one and the other one? Are there quality improvements on this rather than the other that snaps at its weak point |
Answer: | yes. this is compatible with most devices with wacom emr built in. find the compatibility list at https://www.staedtler.com/intl/en/products/noris-digital/ |

Product features
Reinventing the tried and tested
Tradition meets innovation
At first glance, the STAEDTLER Noris digital looks just like a normal pencil and feels like one too - but it is actually a stylus for tablets, smartphones and notebooks (please check the compatibility list).
Brand new possibilities
It is used on displays in the same way a traditional pencil is used on paper. Whether you're traveling, studying, in the office, drawing or at home writing down grandma's recipes - a digital pencil gives you more options.
Clever
Brilliant technology
The key component of the Noris digital is the innovative EMR lead from our partner WACOM. This technology enables the stylus to use an electromagnetic field generated by the display of the device (tablet, smartphone or notebook) and to interact with it inductively.
Easy writing
This technology allows you to place your palm on the display to make writing more comfortable, just as you would do with paper (function depends on the app). Because of this and the ergonomic shape of the Noris digital, you can write without your hand getting tired. You can highlight text and make notes in PDFs, e.g., on lecture notes, and then share them without having to print out several pages. This doesn’t just save paper, it also saves time.
Creative
Feels just like a pencil
Like our pencils and coloured pencils, the stylus is made of the wood-based material WOPEX. Thanks to the 4,096 pressure levels, you can intuitively vary the line width of a stroke, just like with a pencil. Simply press harder or more softly with the stylus (this function depends on the app you are using). Even the precise 0.7 mm writing point was modelled on a classic pencil.
Natural inspiration
The entire look and feel of the stylus is based on an analogue pencil. This means that this is the ideal tool for digital artists. Let your creativity run wild and create sketches, detailed drawings or your next artwork.
Independent
No empty batteries or annoying cables
Thanks to its advanced technology, the stylus does not need a battery and so never needs to be charged. In addition, it does not need to be paired with your device or require a driver to be installed.
Comfortable use
The Noris digital can be used any time and anywhere. Whether you're at home, at school, in the office or even on the road - just unpack it and get started.
Effective
Familiar handling
The writing angle of the Noris digital is very flexible (between 40 and 140º). It immediately feels familiar, meaning you can use your device naturally and giving you full control over your display inputs.
Effective presentation
Anyone who picks up the Noris digital can use it intuitively. Use it to make your presentations and talks more creative and effective - even live in meetings.
FAQs
What does EMR stand for? Electromagnetic resonance (patented WACOM technology). This technology enables the pencil to use an electromagnetic field generated by the display of the device (tablet, smartphone or notebook) and to interact with it inductively. As a result, the device always knows exactly where the point of the Noris digital is, which means you can rest your palm on the display. Because the stylus uses the energy from the device in this way, it never needs to be charged or paired with the device.
What devices is the Noris digital compatible with? For a device to be compatible with the Noris digital, it must have EMR technology built into its display. We have listed the compatible devices we know of in our list with information on compatibility. Please note, however, that the model numbers of the devices may differ depending on the country. In addition, with some manufacturers the same models are available with different display versions - with and without EMR support. The list should give you an indication of whether your device might be compatible. Please make sure that EMR technology is built into your device's display before purchasing the Noris digital.
Can the stylus also be used on Apple devices and Pixelbooks? No. These devices use a different display technology, not the EMR technology. Therefore, they are not compatible with our Noris digital.
Do I need to install a driver or software to use the pen on devices with EMR technology? No. So long as the WACOM EMR technology is built into a device’s display, you can start using the Noris digital straight away.
Why doesn't the pen work although EMR is built into my end device's display? If a stylus is included with your device, you may need to remove it from the device. It is also possible that on some devices the stylus function has to be activated in the system settings first. This is the case, for example, with the SAMSUNG Galaxy Note range.
How many pressure levels does the stylus have? The EMR point of the Noris digital has 4,096 pressure levels. Therefore, when you are using the stylus, the line becomes broader or narrower depending on the pressure applied, just like a real pencil. This doesn’t just enable extremely precise drawing, it also ensures a very natural writing experience. Please note that the line width variation depends on the app used.
Does the stylus have a side button like the S Pen? No. We wanted our Noris digital to provide an experience as close as possible to the experience of writing with a real pencil and this is what we focused on when designing it. A lot of customers find our stylus more comfortable because they cannot accidentally press a button.
Does the Noris digital have or need a battery? No. Thanks to the EMR technology, the Noris digital works inductively with the energy from the end device and doesn’t require tiresome charging.
Why does the point have to be changed regularly? Depending on use and the properties of your device’s display or its protective film, the point may be worn away over time. The point can be replaced very quickly and independently. Please follow the step-by-step instructions for replacing the point. The Noris digital comes with 5 replacement points and a tool for carrying out the replacement.
Are additional replacement points available? The Noris digital comes with 5 points and a tool to make their replacement easy. In addition, replacement points can also be purchased separately, to be found under ASIN B07QZ3XZ4Y or article number 18022 SN.
Will using the Noris digital scratch the display of my device? No. When the point becomes worn, you may feel a scratching sensation, but your device's display will not be damaged. In this case, we recommend replacing the point.
How can I attach the Noris digital to my device? We are currently working on a stylus holder so that you can attach your Noris digital to your device directly.

Question: | what is this white sketch stick? is it the white double tipped tampon looking thing? and if so what does it do specifically |
Answer: | Hello, Thank you for your question! They are very smooth, not hard at all!The success you have as far as painting with them will depend on your paper of course, and these pencils fill in nicely for different color choices and workability. You can use them wet or dry as both work well. Another thing is they don't change color when activated with water. What you put down is what you will get. If you put down a light coat of color that is what you will get, a heavier coat (thus darker) is what you will get. Hope it will helpful to you! Sincerely Cool Bank Service |
