Question:	What is "down-proof"? Does that mean waterproof
Answer:	I believe "down proof" means that the feathers DO NOT poke through or come through the fabric. Some cheaper fabrics the feathers poke through the fabric over time and it is annoying. I haven't had these very long but so far they are not poking through.
Question:	Can it go in the washer & dryer
Answer:	I have washed mine, in very low washer and dryer, it worked very well. By the way, it is the softest and nicest comforter I have ever had, very light and just big enough to just cover me. Love it.
Question:	What material is the cover made of
Answer:	I'm not exactly sure what the cover is made from, but it is very soft and completely machine wash & dry!! It is probably a cotton blend.
Question:	What is the fill power of this down
Answer:	550-600 fill power.

Answer:	It's 90"x90", it can't fit in a 86"x86" duvet cover, by the way, it's a blanket not a comforter, it will be a little cold if you only cover the blanket.

Answer:	No!!! I am so disappointed! I loved the weight and the satin trim. I purchase this blanket mainly because it stated it was machine washable and dryable. After one wash all the filling shifted and has dark spots all trough it! It is almost unusable!

Answer:	If the dog is content being contained it would be fine. It's plastic, sturdier than I thought it would be and retains its shape well. I use it as a place to feed an elderly Boxer so she doesn't have friends trying to steal a bite because she eats slowly. She's big and she has room for a feeding dish and a place to lie down but I don't leave her in there as you would if it was used as a crate. A Cocker would have room for food and water and a bed.
