| Answer: | You would have to use them instead of the upper hoop. But if you are using a large hoop you should probably order 2 sets. I use 6 on my 5x7 magnetic hoop - three on each side. If I use a larger hoop I’d use 8 - four on each side. I tape the stabilizer in place, then place the fabric where I want it. After I initially get the 4 corner magnets on, I go back and pull the fabric a little tighter, keeping the fabric centered. Then I place the additional side magnets down with a little tug as I go. You might use the monster upper hoop to keep the stabilizer in place, such as I do with the tape, then use the individual magnets to hold the fabric down. |

Believe there is something in the connection point. Dont know how w it works just that it does and I love it for working on large projects that are too thick for a regular hoop.
