| Answer: | I haven't had difficulty with the tips being too blunt, but neither have I used very fine yarn. I could see where that may be an issue. |

| Answer: | Yes, it's plastic, but very smooth and flexible (also swivels). To get the "curls" out, you can dunk it in hot water, and then stretch it straight and run it under cold water immediately after the hot water dunk. I do this with all my circular cords and it works really well. |

| Answer: | I own several Knitpicks wooden interchangeable tips and the olive wood clicks are comparable in taper and sharpness. They are not "pin prick" sharp in that they don't cause pain when pushing off stitches (I knit Continental and I push off stitches with my right index finger). But the majority of my knitting is lace and they are pointy and smooth enough to suit me for all the decreases needed to execute lace comfortably and successfully. I'd say they are "just right"....very smooth and pointy...very much like Knitpicks. I don't own any Symphony tips. |

| Answer: | I can only use wood needles due to a hand problem so I don't know about the lace needles. I do have the Natura bamboo interchangeable. I know that the gold cables and the Natura cables are interchangeable so I assume the lace ones are also. The tips of the olive wood needles are about the same as the Matura, so I think they might be slightly less sharp than the lace needles. I hope this helps. |

| Answer: | A 16 inch needle is perfect for making hats. I have been making 30 to 40 hats every year for over ten years and I always use a 16 inch needle. That's measured from tip to tip. Even a large hat is about 22 - 23 inches, which is just about right for sitting comfortably on the needle. |
