Answer:	It’s for reflective surfaces. If the laser hits a reflective surface, it will bounce back. It can reflect off and project the laser in other directions. Very dangerous. Always coat reflective surfaces in black washable paint. Or a dry erase marker. Then wipe it away. This will not cut through transparent materials. You need a CO2 laser for that kind of job. The blue diode laser will pass straight through the material even if you coat it with painters tape or black paint. It will only go as deep as an etching.

• LE-4040 engraver machine has a 5000mW, Class 4 laser unit, which can engrave and cut different kinds of material such as plywood, carboard, leather, acrylic, MDF etc. The laser focus is adjustable. Use Protective Eyewear while operating.
• Laser power range is S0-S1000. The maximum engraving speed is 3000mm/min. The X and Y axis are belt driven, which helps to reduce working noise.
• 10-20 minutes to fully assembly. Main parts are pre-assembled and no complicated installation. Simple and easy to start for both professionals and beginners.

Answer:	no, but there is a good selection of free and reasonalable priced software. I use L ightburn for my laser projects

Answer:	Im not sure, I have it connected to a super gamer computer, my husband who is in tech had to install it, he had to program all the quick buttons. Once you get it set it is easy to use and very precise.

Answer:	Our laser unit's eletric power is 5W, laser output is 3.5W-4W.
Question:	I need to cut through 1/4 white pvc sheets , can this do this and what other stuff can i cut
Answer:	This machine can cut and carve wood, MDF, plywood, cardboard, acrylic and leather. We don't recommend to cut PVC since the power is not enough. But it can carve on it.
