Answer:	Not sure if you have a typo in your question or not. But the tape is not black or grey it is clear for the most part; maybe a cloudy clear. You will not see it if used to secure rug to carpet or rug to floor. If you isi g it between to clear pieces of something then you will see it because it is not meant for that even if it would work. Good tape it is strong and performs well. Hope this helps.

Answer:	I am an audiophile. This tape would not likely do much dampening because it is fairly low density. You would get better results from something like "blu tack" or one of the products sold for car audio deadening like "Dynamat Xtreme Extreme BULK 24"x12" Sheet 2 FT²".

Answer:	I believe all Fuller products are manufactured in Canada but not 100% sure. I threw away the box long ago.

Answer:	depends on the thickness. The knife has some flexibility so it may be too weak

Answer:	not sure what you mean about mounting holes, but be aware that the 71010 is not a true full tang knife like the wood handle version .. I have both and the 71010 will give a much better grip but I wouldn't chop with it ..

Answer:	I have used this knife for cutting fiberglass blankets & batts, rock wood and foam pipe insulation with excellent results. Also recommend getting the blade sharpener as it does require frequent "dressing" for best results.

Answer:	It should, but be sure you keep the blade SHARP!!. Sharpen every 3-5 cuts. The best thing about this knife is that it is long enough to get through the whole batt in one slice, but the insulation itself is pretty hard on metal edges.
