Dear Deno, Hello there. Thanks for your question. We appreciate your interest very much. To answer your question, colloidal silver suspended in water would likely atomize in our diffuser. Water does atomize in our diffuser so there is no reason to believe that colloidal silver would not. However, we have not tried it. So this is not something we can guarantee. Also, we note that if you are looking to use the machine in conjuction with essential oil to get strong aromas, then adding water will just dilute that scent. So its not ideal. Please note that essential oil and water have different molecular weights, so the oil sits on the top of the water and does not mix properly with the water making the scent it emits very, very weak. So we discourage using water. However, we do sometimes recommend that those who wish for the scent to not be so strong to use a few drops of 100% grain alcohol to dilute the oil. Maybe a 5 drops of grain alcohol , 5 drops of colloidal silver and 15 drops of essential oil would make the right combination? Regardless, we are talking about drops here and not anything greater in quantity. This requires experimenting and we can not give you any specific advise nor can we promise a specific outcome. This device was made for those who want strong, pure, natural aromas quickly dispersed in the way they want and across a wide area in a short time. So using the machine for other applications may or may not work. Just remember three things, ONE, this diffuser glass reservoir does require regularly cleanings with isopropyl alcohol to get the best results, TWO, please avoid using thick or heavy oils or those that are old or have been damaged through oxidation. These will be too heavy and thick to diffuse properly. And THREE, essential oil is corrosive, please dont let it contact the wooden base or any other valuable material and please do not let any liquid go into the pump housing in he base or it could be damaged. Dear Valued Customer, The best way to clean your glass reservoir in between uses is to use high percentage isopropyl alcohol. I understand that due to the current COVID situation it may be quite challenging to find. The next method I recommend is to soak your glass reservoir in boiling hot water and liquid dish soap. Please make sure you wear protective gloves when handling very hot water. Make sure to use the cleaning pipette to flush the water through the micro-tubes at the bottom of the glass reservoir.
