Answer:	Rather than scissors I might suggest using these blades, they cut like the proverbial hot knife through butter with very heavy belt-thickness leather. The company has two versions of their baldes, one for abrasive things like sheetrock and this one that I prefer which is for clean cutting things like leather and cardboard etc. : Tajima LCB-30RB Precision Craft Endura 3/8-Inch Razor Blades, 10-Pack. I use them in these: HAUTMEC Innovative Dual Use Mechanism Box Utility Cutter .... and I also very much like this: Gerber EAB Lite Pocket Knife 31-000345 with a different Tajima blade for it . I think for leather work these might be much better than scissors. I just used the HAUTMEC with the Tajima blade this afternoon on heavy belt-thickness vegetable tanned leather to make some stacked-and-glued-togehter leather polishing wheels for my bench grinder. I will use them with polishing compound to get that final edge when sharpening knives. It cut so easily, all the way through the thick leather with little effort. Didn't even need to go over the cut a second time to finish the cut. Just one effortless pass and it was done. Loved it.

Answer:	The manufacturer, Shenzhen Integrity Tiancheng Electronic Technology Co., LTD is out of China. So I assume they are made in china. Although they are made in China, and many products are not if quality from there, these are high quality. I love my scissors! Only issue i had was one of the smaller scissors bent at the tip, but I believe this was my fault as they didn't come this way. Easy fix with pliers.

Question:	How quickly do the scissors dull and can they be sharpened
Answer:	I've been using mine for about 2 months now and I have noticed a bit of dulling. However, before I tried sharpening them, I did a gentle oiling (I used my sewing machine oil) and cleaning on the screw and the blades. That's all they needed! Good as new. I think as long as you keep them clean and oiled, they will stay sharp. Should that no longer work, there are many ways these can be sharpened.
