Answer:	Yes it does, but only after around 5mins of not using it, this is purely to prevent it from overheating when not being used, and glue also tends to melt and dribble out of the nozzle if left unattended, so best to turn off if there are prolonged periods between use, as the gun heats up again very quickly anyhow

Answer:	Well it doesn’t have one if thats the question. I usually turn down the heat if i am needing it on but not wanting it to drip. You could plug it into a power strip that has an on/off switch, though you would have to wait for it to heat up each time

Answer:	no it needs a decoder, look them up either a whole synth or a separate decoder, maybe a newer one will do it, I have a vg 88, its old and needs a separate box, again its old I have a gi 20 roland thing that does it
