Answer:	It's thin... Like regular tape but it has a more matte finish rather than crystal clear.

Answer:	It should do the job. This tape is supposed to be free of any of the substances that could damage the pictures or turn the paper brown. I have used this product for putting together a collage of things together in a large picture frame, I covered the backing board of the frame with black material, stuck the items to this material, and then put it into the frame. It looks good and has held up well. So far, no discoloration.
Question:	Is this tape removable if you need to remove or reposotion photos in an album

Answer:	This is a vague question. I have placed photos on walls wo damage and they stuck no problem.

Answer:	They could but when you took the photos off the wall you would probably take the paint with it. This is a double sided adhesive for light weight material.
Question:	Is the surface of decorative adhesive tape smooth
Answer:	When you say MOUNT do you mean on a wall? They are not strong enough to do that. They are 2 sided sticky squares which you can peel off once, put on a paper but if left on too long they are hard to remove. I use them in scrap booking for small pictures placed on paper which is usually never removed.
Question:	Does it come with the plastic tube
Answer:	They are not! I contacted Scotch after receiving this product because the packaging did not say they are acid-free. Scotch confirmed they are not acid-free and should not be used for pictures.
