Answer:	It doesnt take much to damage the mat unfortunately. it is nice & firm so you dont have to press very hard. once a cut has been made to the mat, the cut is there.

Answer:	I would not try to iron on this expensive cutting mat. I got a small tabletop ironing board for my crafts. You can get one for under $15 at http://www.walmart.com/search/?query=tabletop%20ironing%20board&typeahead=tabletop%20iOrder it online and pick it up at your local store and the shipping is free.

Answer:	This cutting mat is geared toward crafting. If you are using something more heavy duty than say a craft knife, Xacto or hand held rotary trimmer, it may cut deeper into the 5 layers. Answer:	Since I don’t have the Ranger craft mat, I can’t reapond to that but I can tell you I love my glass mat. I have put away my old craft mat and work exclusively on the glass. It’s large size accommodates even 12X12 sheets and has a separate area for mixing inks away from your dry workspace. It’s well marked for keeping things straight and for measuring. You can heat emboss on it and cleanup is very easy. If you have the older mat and are happy with it, that’s great. If you do t have it, the glass mat is a very nice upgrade.

Answer:	These are used for putting your resin items on to dry... I don't know why they smell. When i bought them mine didn't smell.

Answer:	It's flexible but not really stretchable to stay stretched. It can be stretched or pulled alittle but it's gonna go back to it's regular size as soon as u let go and will rip if u stretch to far

Answer:	Product information says that it can be cut down to size. Im using it to line binto boxes.
