Answer:	It os not much different, even the watts is 180 vs 150. Like other have said it is newer and probably a more efficient heatsink. It probably has a better fan and ventilation as well. I do not know which is noisier.

Answer:	I purchased this model about 6 months ago from Amazon and have used it several times. I follow the recipe for a 2 quart batch of custard in my ice cream recipe book, and that batch fits comfortably in the mixing canister -- leaves about 3/4 of an inch to the top rim.

Answer:	The 200 LS has the aluminum bowl and the 220SSY has the stainless steel bowl.
Question:	Do I have to add water to his machine
Answer:	It should take less time since this only goes to a soft serve stage unlike their older discontinued model. The paddle is moved by magnets and can not handle any harder stage unlike mechanically driven one. Make sure you refrigerate for a couple of hours first. Also turn it on about 5 minutes before adding anything so it has time to cool down first. Sorbets take less time.

Answer:	Possibly if it has good water pressure but honestly this maker broke 4 months after purchases we argued for days with the company just to get them to send a part for us to fix it our self, and then same part broke again 13 days later and hasn’t worked since. The company didn’t stand by their product at all.

Answer:	No you can't and mine went out after 6mos.so I'm not recommending it.
