Answer:	I've kept food in there for months and it's been fine. It's not a self-defrosting freezer, so your food doesn't go through thaw and freeze cycles.

Answer:	Yes it was very well packaged and delivered promptly to my UPS store mailbox! If you are having it mailed to a third party entity like UPS store!? make sure you tell the people that are receiving this refrigerator not and I repeat not to turn this refrigerator on its side while waiting for you to pick it up! Make sure you tell them to keep it up right! Otherwise it could force the coolant liquid to go to places it doesn't need to go and it could take you 24 to 48 hours in an upright position to get that fluid back to where it needs to be! That's the case for any refrigerator by the way!

Answer:	This DOES need hard wiring. It also needs a cord wired to it. The toggle switches kept burning out, so we re-wired with a 30-amp switch and it seems to be working very well so far! Hope that helps!
