In the Alarm position the unit will sound its alarm when the two pieces of the unit are separated by more than an 1/2 inch. It is VERY, VERY loud. The smaller units are not connect to the large one, nor or they connected to each other. They are loud, but not as loud as the large unit. They only have an "On/Off" switch, no code or "chime" setting. I bought some of the larger units seperately for my daughters to have on their aparment doors. |
