Answer:	Hello, Not that I am aware of. When my first unit arrived damage I contacted Amazon immediately and they facilitated a replacement for me. The company did contact me and asked that I hold onto the 1st unit for 30 days in case they wanted to come and inspect the damage. I was not contacted by the company again. When my replacement arrived it too was damaged at that point I just dealt with it. Will not be ordering from that company again. I am sorry you had a similar experience.

I would say that if you were to get an extension, to make sure it's a low-number gauge, and as short as possible. That should decrease the possibility of it heating up and causing a fire. But of course it would be best to plug it in directly to an outlet.

He added there was like only two companies in all of Wisconsin that would work on it. In the end, we got a different refrigerator from Lowes. I would suggest not getting this fridge.

Answer:	I have the freezer. Amazon's questions on this particular item don't work correctly as I keep getting questions on the combo unit and not specifically the freezer. The freezer has its own item number, and the refridge/freezer combo has it's own part number. I love the FREEZER, but it was damaged in shipment 3 times! Finally kept the last one even though it was dented on the bottom as I was tired of dealing with shipment damage and the damage didn't show as much as the previous ones.

Answer:	The refrigerator will get to below 46 for sure. In fact, things left in contact with some parts of the the back wall of the refrigerator part (e.g. milk) can form ice. The freezer will freeze ice solid, but I don't know if it is 5 degrees. We were looking for a unit that did not stick out too far from the wall to fit a space we had and this unit was shallower than most. Overall, we are satisfied with the unit for the size and the price.

Answer:	No it is not. Manual defrost but not big deal once a year if can find temp place for food. We had a slightly larger one that was older and manual defrost. Wait till food half used up in freezer so less to move then turn off and unplug and open door and let melt off.
