After using them often, you will notice where you cut the most and eventually, you will have trouble cutting your fabric where your rotary cutter has cut grooves in the mat. There is no way to repair them. I eventually just threw my mat out and use my largest olfa mat (36x48) for the cutting but use it on the table so that I still have the nice long work surface I love. I will not replace the large table size mat until I can find a reasonably priced self healing mat. |
