Answer:	I've used mine for about 2 1/2 years 2 or 3 times a week. My backsplash is just 1980s style formica and I have it pushed back to the stops on the oven. I pull it out once a week to clean and have not seen any damage. I assume it can get hot just keep an eye on it until you figure it out. Also I never depend on the temp being what it's set on, most things I fry or bake are at 225 to 300 degrees and have developed quite good skills on this thing

Answer:	I purchased this earlier this year. It does not have a stay-on option or a crumb tray, as shown in the picture. And no one sells a crumb tray separately. You have to keep turning the dial to increase bake time. Not a big inconvenience to me. I needed an extra-large second oven, so I am happy with this product. No other manufacturer had one this large, so this was it. The stay-on and crumb tray would have been nice though.

Answer:	A: I agree, there should be a better explanation of what the size is. From looking at the pic, I assume the face of the unit is the largest number for the width and the smallest number for the height. Then the depth is the middle number. With that it should fit under top cabinets that are normally 18” above the countertop. I’m trying to fit it in a certain spot, so these measurements are important. A picture with the measurements superimposed would be helpful or noted as such (19.3” wide x 10” high x 15” deep)

Answer:	The description is listing the shipping box dimensions:23 x 17.5 x 13.5 inches and the exterior dimensions: 19x15x9.5 inches. The interior dimensions are approx: 12.5x11x5.75 inches of usable space (you have to allow for the heating elements at the bottom and top). It will accommodate one of those aluminum half pans that caterers use over warmers if you use the edges of the pan to slide into the grooves where the racks and baskets go. If you just put it on the rack, you have to bend the aluminum pan slightly inward at each end. I just measured mine because I need to find another small dutch oven to slow cook in it.

Question:	Is it safe to use aluminum foil for baking , e.g. to cover the baking tray
Answer:	Thank you for your question, Margarita. Aluminum foil can be used on/around the food being cooked, and on/around the bake pan. However, be aware that using aluminum foil changes the heating characteristics of the oven, and may lead to unpredictable results. Never use aluminum foil on the crumb tray, the floor, the walls, or along the entire rack. Doing so will cause overheating, and improperly manipulates heat reflection, leading to poor results.
Question:	Is it ptfe or pfoa free
Answer:	It looks like stainless steel inside and out - I do not see any coating on it, I would not have kept it if it had. The inside is shiny SS and the outside is brushed SS. Very nice oven -- I'm a nutritionist and I like that it uses crystal rods for the heating elements - all the others in this class use aluminum. Not that I've seen any studies regarding this, but crystal seems a little better than heating up aluminum.
Question:	Would I be able to fit two slim (cookie sheet) 13x9" pans at the same time? (assuming I get a 2nd rack
Answer:	Yes, if your can find a second rack but.... you will not get an even bake. You can not successfully cook a pizza, pie, bread pan, roast, whole chicken etc. This oven does not get to 450 no matter how long you wait and does not have clearance for anything like bread or whole chicken roaster even on the bottom rack which I would not recommend for an even bake. Toast does not cook evenly either. If you are cooking small meal for 2 or reheating fine. This is not going to replace your full sized oven if you are a cook or baker.

Answer:	The blower is inside the unit, all you have to do is install it and vent it outside. It works great and was a awesome price, I checked at appilance stores and they wanted 1000.00 or more for the same thing. I would buy it again in a haert beat!
Question:	What is the amperage usage
Answer:	Yes, you could do that, but I do have 3 caveats for you: 1) This blower is 30 inches long - which is what a standard range is - and the DEPTH of the range is only 21 inches, meaning that the blower would go beyond the range top by 9 inches. So your island would need to be more than 30 inches deep, probably as much as 34 inches so the granite cutter has at least a 2-inch border. (A non-granite countertop is probably not so critical and possibly only 1 inch would be OK, thus you would then need a 32-inch depth - but I am surmising here!). The 2nd caveat is that two of the burners would be quite far from the blower. My 30-inch cooktop would make a distance of 22 inches from the blower, so an even larger cooktop would place it even further away. As is with my blower in the back, my furthest burner from the blower is 13 inches. (Remember, the cooktop is only 21 inches deep, thus the blower is 9 inches closer to the furthest burner than if the blower were placed on the side.) My 3rd caveat is that I'm not sure you would really want this thing coming up alongside the cooktop as it could really hinder your movement during cooking, i.e., flipping burgers, stir-frying, plating up, etc. I'm really sorry to put such a damper on your idea; I remember while designing our kitchen, all the hassles - known today as challenges! - we had to deal with and conquer. Somehow it all works out. (PS If you are installing a black or very dark countertop, I highly recommend the black cover for this item.) Good luck! Question:	what are the interior dimensions - from lower rack to top
Answer:	The onsite specs do say, and I affirm, that the interior has sufficient space to hold a 9in round item in the interior. What needs to be clarified is the height. The effective clearance - that is the available space between the lower rack at the bottom and the heating implement at the top - is slightly less than 4in. An item with a height of 3.5in should fit, but one needs to be concerned with any food being close to the heat source. I would advise against cooking any food in this oven that will rise in excess of 3.5in from bottom of pan to highest point.
